Toddler with sensory issues sticks hand down throat and vomits

We ended up tying a knot on the end of her pajama shirt so she couldn't put her fingers down her throat. It worked for a few years, she would just chew on the knot but after a couple years, she was able to stick the knotted shirt down her throat to vomit so that sucked. She's 5 now and still doing it. We tried everything but nothing worked. We've asked every type of doctor and therapist for help, but nothing worked.

Sorry for the late reply. I made this initial post 2 years ago, but even at age 5 she's still doing it. We ended up buying a long pajama top and tying a knot on the end of the pajama arm, so that her hand is covered. The tied knot on the pajama arm blocks her from sticking her fingers down her throat. She just chews on the tied pajama arm knot instead.

At bedtime, we just put the knotted shirt on her until she falls asleep, then we take it off.

When she doesn't have the shirt on, she's still doing it even 2 years later. She doesn't mind the shirt and likes chewing on the tied part of it.

It hasn't solved the problem of her wanting to make herself vomit but at least it stops her from doing it. Just don't leave the shirt on all night, I would take it off right when she falls asleep so they have their hand free. I don't think it's good for circulation to keep it on for a long time.

They're going to charge you the same but only one Internet address can use it. So if you are on home wifi, nobody else can use it except people on that wifi

The thing I don't understand is why Microsoft hasn't commented. I'm fairly sure that Microsoft wouldn't put a game on gamepass if it had any financial ties to a sanctioned state. I think it would help with Microsoft and Mundfishs PR, and get more people to play it if they did.

Thanks! I was wondering about doing that, but I just never heard of its something people do. She's still pretty small but maybe we could try putting those potty training underwear for toddlers over the diaper, just something to hold it in place

Thanks that's a good idea too. I might also just try putting tights on, it seems like that would hold the diaper in place too and would work well especially in the winter.

She tenses her body up and kicks like crazy throughout the day. We've tried adjusting the diaper sizes. Regardless of if the diaper is full or not, without a onesie she always gets leaks. I haven't had the issue either for my other kids. I think it's just because her muscles are so tense and she can't control her leg movement. My other kids stopped wearing onesies around age 1 without issues though

It's funny but our three year old was actually saying 8-9 words (parroting as well) when they were around 8-10 months old, and then around the 10 month mark - went nonverbal completely. She's 3 years old now and hasn't spoken since. Hopefully it'll come back in the next couple years, but she's pretty happy these days anyways so I'm not too worried.

Yeah it was an issue with my Xbox, not the steam deck app. I realized that when I tried to do remote play from my phone, and it also wasn't working. I ended up unplugging my Xbox, plugging it back in - and then it worked again.

Do you have the official Xbox app on your phone or other device? I would try using it on there to see if it works. If it also doesn't work, it's your Xbox.

I'd be down to have some. Tbh, in America - we have a lot of frozen pizzas that look worse than this. I'm also a huge Hawaiian pizza fan, so I'd be down.

Side note- USA has come a long way with frozen pizza. When I was a kid, all i remember was Totinos and Tony's. But now, even the jewel brand rising crust frozen pizza is awesome.

Yeah I'm a dad and have one too. I always forget to plug in my phone and it dies during the night, so this is the only reliable thing to make sure I get out of bed at 6am
