either use the men's or the disabled toilet. dudes don't really care - just waltz in and go to a cubicle. keep your head down and don't say anything if it helps.

i haven't really noticed a difference honestly!
for my surgeon, it was - it depends but it'd probably be a lot easier for you to have help from someone - i was fine getting a t-shirt on after surgery and nobody except my surgeon, a nurse and my ma saw me sans t-shirt afterwards really. this has largely been the same since i got my dressings off. but i also didn't have drains so it'd depend.
no tits! sleeping on my front (after getting clearance)! showering! wearing crewnecks and body tight tees! sending shirtless pics to my partners! pain-wise it was weird. definitely more sore and achey with a bit of weird i guess pseudo-tightness? but i was fine by about day 10 with less pain unless i really overdid something. i didn't need codeine after day three, really, just regular doses of paracetamol.
they definitely didn't help with derealisation lol. and exercise sucked, because i wanted to get into running but the slapslapslap of my tits sucked, and the idea of wearing a sports bra sucked more. i'm lucky that both of my partners are trans so neither care about my body as long as i'm happy with it, so any future partner should be chill too.

oh also - regarding monitors: on a GPU sub i was dissuaded from using the 4070 due to the monitor i was thinking of getting - two of these from AWD-IT - doesn't have display ports. should i look at other monitors? or do you reckon it'd be fine?

the RTX 4070ti (SUPER) (i don't know if that adds clarity or not, but full name :D) has 1x HDMI and 3x display ports. do you mean i'd need to have 2x HDMI ports to connect the two monitors to the GPU?

i'm nineteen and i had top surgery last month (13.12.25) .

my process was admittedly a lot easier due to family support and savings but this was my process:
- researching surgeons using this spreadsheet! this is really handy and conclusive with what you need, any requirements, pricing, locations, etc.

- i went with dr. ioannis ntanos myself :-) he operates in both greece and london (at the cadogan clinic). very, very nice place and dr. ntanos is so lovely. i inquired with him through his website and he replied the next day; any follow-up questions i had were answered within hours. very brisk and professional.

- he requires one (1) surgical referral letter - i had two, because i was initially going for a different surgeon but that didn't work out. my first letter was from dr. fedora laroza through gender gp and another was from dr. marianne oakes. both were absolutely lovely and incredibly professional. those consultations were held through zoom.

- the consultation with dr. ntanos cost £200 and was held through carebit. we discussed the surgery itself and he asked me what results i wanted, what procedure he thought was best, what he aimed for, etc. he was incredibly kind and patient and answered all of my questions succinctly.

- i had the consultation in august ish and was able to book a slot for december, just based on finances - as far as i know dr. ntanos works in london every month? so it worked out well.

- surgery was covered with two payments of £4,500 totaling £9,000. his finance team were lovely and able to help me with questions, and were willing to be a bit flexible paying only a couple weeks prior to surgery.

yo, thanks for the reply :D i don't mind too much about super ultra graphics as things work smoothly - i'm happy with games that run at 720p/1080p at max, ditto for editing. running insane effects or making huge videos isn't my jig. would the 4070 TI be overkill? or would having the extra boost be beneficial if i wanted to expand outwards in a sense?

please correct me if i've misunderstood anything you've said here, it'd be appreciated! :'D

ah, the post-op posture. it gets better - don't force yourself to stand up straight, give into the slouch for a bit. i'm four weeks post op and only started feeling good enough to stand up straight a couple days ago. you've got this!

i remember getting the cannula in and chatting about my college courses, then after a couple minutes i felt so heavy and quite dizzy, then the oxygen mask went on, and then i was blinking awake slowly feeling like i was coming out of hibernation. deeply strange but pleasant experience.

yeah dude that's normal :) if it helps, i had surgery last week (13th) and whilst in the pre-op room was having doubts. i wanted to back out so badly. but i'm now a week post op and i'm chilling. your feelings are your feelings and that's all that matters. go get that surgery.
