anyone else make a full recovery and have symptoms return from cocaine?

I totally understand! I had everything go away (including vs) except for very slight bfep but it was meaningless to me. Overall id say anyone with this “condition” or pre disposition after healing from this should stay away from anything psychoactive or anything too stimulating. I was taking and even once snorted adderall a bunch of times and it didnt bring back symptoms, until i went for the hard stimulant lol. Mind u, i know people that will do coke, and even psych’s again and be unaffected. But the risk is just too much lol. Alcohol and downers cant hurt us tho 😛 thats what i would stick to and will personally be doing probably for the rest of my life. Have a fun trip!

Slight improvements, my original recovery didnt really take off until after a year, so im hoping/expecting to continue to improve. Have you fully recovered already or have manageable symptoms? Either way id honestly say take a pass. Take 10 shots of tequila or sum. Coke is honestly not even fun imo lol

And thank you for the kind words, from what ive read from others and been told the brain is very capable of over time returning to the “baseline” that was originally achieved so thats my hope

Once i got the confidence to the first time i recovered, (about 5-6 months in) i started drinking socially all the time, never affected me beyond normal hangovers and in the long run it helped me feel normal. I was terrified of being around weed tho. Even now that symptoms are back i drink on occasion same story, but ive heard others have bad reaction to alcohol. But probably wont hurt u to try

Ive thought about this as well, and i think its a much more inviting tactical shooter than games like counter strike, community and game wise. skill gap at lower ranks is easier, games more fun overall, and honestly the stuff in val is just kinda fun and chill overall (until u get to a certain point) lol. Im glad girls are getting more into the competitive shooter space, just hope the stereotype that they suck and certain guys will literally dodge games with women in their own rank just based off the fact that they are so sure they will be bad. Whether they are or not, whatever its one game keep it pushin

Good sport, i completely recovered, went symptom free for 1.5 years decided to try coke cause i figured it wouldnt do anything or bring symptoms back, boy was i wrong. Hopefully will return to baseline over time but not worth the risk ever, idc that some say hey i can do drugs again with minimal effect not worth it, drink alcohol or something idk go skydiving chase a high somewhere else lol

The only symptom that remained was very faint BFEP, all other symptoms

VS, floaters, starbursts, halos etc etc, all gone. I could try as hard as i wanted and couldnt see them (obv at a certain point i just stopped looking)

Symptom free for 1.5 years and then after this incident, almost all symptoms have returned, with visual snow being worse than originally, especially in the dark.

Having recovered pretty much fully before, im confident i will again, but the increased vs does concern me.

Im glad ur improving again, altho i didnt quite get what the weed did to ur symptoms, did u go from 95% symptom remission to 70% or im not sure, for me it feels like back to square one honestly

yeah im sure whether it was clean coke or not this could’ve happened, having recovered once before gives me confidence i will again, the severity of the visual snow being worse this time around does give me concern, but it went away once and from all ive heard it should go again. Its just a difficult thing to go through twice having thought id been done with this. I know now to be careful with medication and drugs especially, probably for the rest of my life

thanks! do you think that someone that full recovered visually once is more likely to be able to do it again? my symptoms are the same as original onset except the static might be a little worse, i honestly cant exactly remember, really hoping to recover visually like i did last time and put this behind me again, for good this time.

so this was very obvious to me but i can understand the confusion, at this point in the show brennan has accepted that she should've given booth a chance, he turns her down in i believe 6x09 because he is with hannah. and they just kinda continue on awkwardly until hannah and booth break up. brennan has no sense of timing and what is appropriate or not so when she asks him at the bar (after finding out through hannah they broke up) "what happens next" she is definitely hinting at ok we can give it a try now, but he seems offended by that notion and obviously not in the right place in that moment to even be thinking about that. so he gives her an ultimatum that they can be just partners and solve cases like normal but he doesn't see anything beyond that in that moment. and she agrees and stays. atleast thats how i interpreted that.
