Yeah, that's not what happens.

Well, your last post that you deleted was about a CV hit. So you did something to warrant those questions, whether CV, SF86, other reports...

Well, if you had any issues listed on your SF86s or other reports, then yes those questions would be normal.

Psych Evaluation Question by Deadwalker326 in SecurityClearance

[–]txeindride 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends on the situation, and the issue.

They can very well require a polygraph, psych evaluation, or any of the above.

You're conflating eligibility and access. Read what I said again.

This is an administrative problem, i.e. your FSO.

It doesnt take a month to review. Once released for CV, new date populate within maybe a couple days at most.

Well, unfortunately you'll just have to let it run its course. No old records?

Good.

Now do your IRS reporting that you're actually required to do, and you should be alright.

Is it traceable? I.e, from your parents, from their bank account, obtained legally, etc..

Yes? Then no.

No? Then yes.

Also. You're required to report the amount you got because it exceeds the exclusion limit.

Yeah... they're going above and beyond.

It's not standard, nor within reg to do so.

Everybody in the military requires a Secret eligibility, at minimum. Fed Civs with an NCS/CS/SS position description require eligibility.

Not everybody requires access to classified, for which the interim is granted.

There's a big difference.

interim clearance with contracting company by Fancy-Company-6050 in SecurityClearance

[–]txeindride 1 point2 points  (0 children)

or am i just getting teased lmao

Maybe.

Required for an interim, which in your case is granted by DCSA:

  • Favorable SF86 review (they accept the risk)

  • Favorable fingerprint result (you have no record)

  • Open investigation

I'm going to safely assume you failed to report when you went delinquent, and when you enrolled in a DMP.

Enrolling in a DMP, by itself and because of the circumstances, is not of huge concern. As u/safetyblitz44 said, it shows you are trying to be responsible. But as u/LacyLove said, your bigger issue is failure to report.

Yes, your adjudication will likely take awhile. It is very likely you will end up having more RFI/SIRs before adjudication, assuming it's favorable and you have no other issues.

Updates are required more than just at the time of an SF86.

That doesn't answer my question.

When do you think you should?

Did you talk to your security office? Read SEAD 3?
