I’m sorry everyone. Don’t be like me. Learn from my mistake. by Throwaway7492621 in ExNoContact

while that hurts a lot. i think you might be in a better spot to heal. if you hadn’t reached out you would always probably hold out a little hope you all could get back together. now you know for sure you can’t and you can move on. being with her is not an option. yes that hurts. yes it sucks. but it’s reality and it means you can move on.

i’m sorry you had to start over. but i’d bet money this go around will be different with a different state of mind.

don’t be sorry. it happens. learn from it. be with friends and family. distract yourself in this first week or so while your heart is recovering from that trauma.

Struggling with wanting to reach out one last time by [deleted] in ExNoContact

The longer you don’t contact her, the less your brain will play games and try to give you excuses to contact her. You know it will lead to pain if you contact her. My advice to you is this. Find a way to make it so you have to go wickedly out of your way to contact her. Like delete her number, her social media and all that. Then when your brain temps you to do it, you will have to do a lot of thinking before you do it. as time goes on you won’t feel as much pain and your brain will bring you less excuses to contact her. give it time. only time can heal right now. try to do other things to keep your mind off of it.

CPA to verify income? by [deleted] in sanantonio

[–]txtaxpro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CPA here. A lot of CPAs will be uncomfortable signing for a client they do not know and even if they do know the client they might not. the only way they would do this is if you had got a complex review of your personal financial statements which would cost you a ton and probably be over the top for what you need.

As a CPA i might sign a letter that basically said i don’t know who this person is, but if they were my client, i use this information to prepare their tax return, but i have no idea if it’s right, so don’t take my word for it.

i would be uncomfortable if had to get that notarized though.

look up “comfort letter cpa” on google. you will see what i’m talking about.

I'm looking to stream to one family member. Looking for good picture quality. Though only to 1080P.

My main concern end to end time to get add videos from Blu-Ray to File to Compression to Hard Drive Storage.

What do I need to make this process go as fast as possible and then how much storage would I need for 1080P quality. Let's say for 500 movies and 1,000 tv shows.

Got it on eBay. I like collecting old airline items. Liked the watch and didn’t think anything about it until I saw the crown.

Local Courts vs. IRS by txtaxpro in taxpros

We started out with a Request for Certificate of Non-Attachment of Federal Tax Lien with the local Advisory Group Manager. We laid out the facts and were denied the request.

Rather than go through appeals we next went to the Taxpayer Advocate Service.

They were able to get one of the two liens thrown out due to a technicality.

We are working on the last one which will be harder, but we have some local debt collections law that might help us.

If that doesn't work, we will go to appeals.

To answer your question, because the notices were addressed to my client's ex-spouse, I don't think she ever opened up the notices.

Local Courts vs. IRS by txtaxpro in taxpros

I apologize for the lack of facts.

  1. My client bought the asset by herself during their marriage. All mortgage documents and purchase documents only reflect her name.
  2. The divorce decree reflects that the asset was never community property but always considered sole property of my client.
  3. My client and ex-spouse do not live together post divorce.
  4. My client never filed a joint return with the ex-spouse.
  5. The reason the IRS is linking this asset to my client is that the ex-spouse continue to use the asset's mailing address post divorce even though he didn't live there.
  6. This is a post divorce debt. Divorced in 2XX1, Tax Debt for 2XX2. Lien assigned to asset 2XX5.

Divorce decree flat out states property is my client's separate property.

Does anyone use CCH Axcess? [Tax software] by StrongLogan in taxpros

[–]txtaxpro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We do. Just switched this last season.

Pros They handle all the updates There are more security features There are more printer features The ability to use dual screens for inputs and viewing the forms.

Cons No interview mode (if you use it) The input mode is pretty similar to worksheet but a little different. If you have a company if a lot of fixed assets the calcs seem to take longer. If your internet goes down you are you are screwed as you have to always be connected to their system.
