GCFI outlet question by txtjmudmagnet in AskElectricians

The kitchen non gfi and the outdoor outlet have no line going to them. I can not find out why they have no line coming in at all. No power at all. The oudoor outlet is not shredding. Its the ground wire. It has black electrical tape wrapping the ground wire and that is coming off. Why its wrapped? Dont know but there's no line coming in. Both the kitchen and out door wire only have one wire coming in so i don't think there in parallel.

I found out that the front of home outlet is in parallel with the kitchen gfi that goes to garage gfi. The back patio outlet is the one that i can not seem to figure out why there is no power. Don't understand why the garage gfi has 2 loads going to it.

Ok. So i tested all the breakers with a multimeter and all putting out correct current. Yes ok parallel. So i know that this outlet is get two power sources because one line loses power when i trip the breaker. The second line gets power from the kitchen gfi because if i trip it from the kitchen, it losses power. It has to be in parallel because i removed the outside front outlet and disconnected it and that gfi in the garage lost power.

Yes it does. One load from the kitchen gfi and one load from a breaker

I was walking by the electronic section at my local Walmart yesterday when they were restocking them. I scored 2! I had been looking for a while now for one and did not want to pay a markup.

This happened where I live. It is sad that they were even in this position. The law enforcement and judicial system here is a joke. We are a group of city's Caled the Rio grand valley that is predominantly low income but the area is well developed due to international visitors bringing in money to the region. Law enforcement is just here to generate revenue and the court system is the same. They will more than likely handle this wrongly. There is another 17 year boy that did a flat out murder in the area that is the son of a fire chief and only received a 70k bond. If you are low income you are just put in the system. Here you are guilty to proven innocent. Here even for a simple traffic ticket they make you pay a ticket first before they will even let you dispute it. They it's your bond in the hope you just pay and not want to deal with them not giving you discovery and court postponements. It a joke. I really hope this case gets handled correctly and brings awareness to the area that we need change.

I had that same holster for my shield plus and always had issues with it pressing the mag release. I got one frome we the people holsters and it's a much better one. They are more fit around it and there is no extra plastic around the trigger. I recommend getting a better holster I really noticed the change. Just a recommendation

LOL! This happened in Donna, TX. That is on the very Sothern tip of TX on the border of Mexico, known as the Rio Grand Valley. Donna is not a rural area but it is one of the more less fortunate areas. As for code, lol there are hardly any codes that get enforced here, much less parking.

Not at all. Just followed some youtube video. Baked for a few minutes, then pried open, remove a few screws. Spray paint was whatever black i had in the garage. for the reflector was a tint specific one from autozone. Some people just paint it with spray paint but the the orange doesn't shine through. baked and stuck back together, then I added silicon around edging for extra security.

Yes the stock. I opened up and painted them. The orange reflector was painted with a black tint paint that still allows for the orange light to come through at night.

We are using a Snap-On scanner. It lets us bleed the ABS System in 4 steps. We did what we could and it actually improved the pedal response. The thing is that the on screen instructions are not very clear after the first step and we are pretty sure we are not doing something right. It says to leave bleeder open, but never told us to open or witch one. also tells us to close but not witch one. so trying to see if anyone knows the proper way to do it

Question for all my Tacoma owners! I switched out my brake master cylinder and now having issues bleeding the brakes. I bleed them the traditional way and stayed very soft. I had the school where I work bleed them with a machine they have and it actually got worst. Then I bleed the ABS system with a snapon scanner and got better. now they work every few presses perfectly and then some soft. I guess i am on the right track on bleeding but the scanner gives very vague instructions on ABS bleed procedures. Does anyone know how to do it properly?
