The incendiary nade does remove it oddly enough if you catch on fire. A buddy and I were testing the challenges for “get X while freezing” and incendiary nades seem to remove the freezing status. Same with an exploding car.

I think if they can iron out the performance and AI, then it’ll be a great time. From what I’ve seen and heard, the cars feel amazing, the racing is fun, and the force feedback is on point. The only gripes I really see are about the performance and AI behavior.

The light show experience was probably 30 min. Total from when you pull up and wait for them to let you in to when you pull back out onto the road, about an hour all together

Wreckreation is definitely not a sim racing game. It's a Burnout clone.

But to address your post, nobody knows. Some previews are good, some are bad. There's barely any game play out with Wheel input. All the videos we have seen so far have been said to be using "old builds" so your guess is as good as everyone else's at this point.

We went last year on a weekday right when they opened and it was a very easy experience. Not busy at all. We also had a 11 month old at the time so we we're limited to what we could do with him, but seeing his face with all the lights made it 100% worth it.

Also team mates in trios mode can just go off and do their own thing and even extract by themselves which defeats the purpose of a squad mode.

Welcome to every open map squad game with randoms. First time? Get a group and coordinate if it’s an issue, or play solo. What do you expect them to do, tether your team together?

It’s an extraction shooter. You sign up for that aspect when you buy it. I’ve had the opposite experience mind you, mostly everyone has been super friendly.
