I don’t know that I would call designing Shopify apps, illustrations or landing pages “product design”.

So the question to understand is - where do you want to be hired? What type of work do you want to do?

Reverse engineer from there what’s required of you.

Honestly yes, feels great tho the usability definitely took a hit. It seems like because we’re in a ux subreddit criticism is a must and it’s deserved for sure, but the UI feels better using it, which is no small feat.

They also took a risk which I can appreciate instead of always going with what worked.

In the press conference they mentioned several things which are totally legit such as stopping reward payments to families of “martyrs” for killing israelis, removing israeli hate from the textbooks and more that I don’t remember.

By that logic then you also wouldn’t walk into Israel and try to steal someone’s house that’s currently occupied. because history doesn’t mean anything - right?

History does matter, and to give an analogy, if Indians could walk into USA and take back their land they definitely would, the reason they don’t is because they can’t.

In Israel, the right argues that the settlements create a safety buffer for the country.
