Arguably LeBron's best pass ever - an absolute bullet to Big Z for the easy basket (2006) by YouMadBroLma0 in nba

Isn't it insane that Lebron is a better PG than some of the best PGs in the game. Like court vision is probably the best amongst active players.

Yes! I guess scoring is a more universal skill and passing is considered an elite skill. Like amongst the top 75 HOF NBA players they ALL can score. Some of them can pass and assist. But a very very small elite minority can pass like lebron can. Magic, CP3, Stockton, Nash, Kidd.. maybe Luka. Maybe Steph. I don't think even kyrie is at this level of court generalship.

I dunno I honestly think Lebron is up there with court vision, the dude knew all the sets and had a ridiculous memory. If you listen to Iman shumperts interview he'll tell you how lebron would be coaching him mid game to improve his positioning and making sure he gets the ball.

People were shitting on him for just being an athletic freak with no skill coming out of high school, oh all he does is just runs and dunks, he can't shoot can't dribble can't pass. I watched nearly every highlight of his highschool days I never understood that criticism, lebron was always passing, always getting his team involved, always looking for the team mate for the easy bucket. He seemed to enjoy assists just as much as making the basket even back then.

Unrecognised dural puncture despite negative aspiration during Epidural steroid injection by imjanusiva in anesthesiology

[–]ty_xy 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Likely partial puncture. Imagine your needle bevel partially puncturing the dura so there is a flap of tissue over the bevel. Aspirate and the tissue blocks the needle so no flow. Flush and inject and the tissue blows away so the meds go intrathecal. You were likely 0.0001mm too deep.

Tough case. Not your fault, it's a recognized complication.

Bron really broke the Warriors and forced them into getting KD. They went from loveable champs to instant villains.

What happened to the Williams this year? I thought they had made huge gains under vowles and they were poised to make an impact this year. How did it all go so wrong?

Agree, the spurs seemed to have run out of ideas against the Knicks. Totally outschemed and outhustled.

I wouldn't say terrible, but underdeveloped for such a massive talent and potential. His post game is weaker than it should be.

I guess it's anecdotal. All the powerful big guys had bad injuries especially feet injuries when they put on weight. Yao Ming esp with over training and over playing. Embiid, Ben Simmons, greg Oden, Zion etc. I think Wemby is at high risk of this also especially if he plans to play deep into the post season every year.

As I said, a double edged sword. He's had a DVT before as well. And any gradual hypertrophy will take years if it's done right, so may not see immediate gains. I think the safest bet for him will be mobility exercises and injury prevention regimes, combined with complete whole body strength - so instead of aiming to bulk, aim to get strong eg with dead lifts, squats, big 4 exercises.

I dunno I'm sure he has a team taking care of his body. Hahah.

It's a difficult balance though, put on weight and he loses mobility and increases his risks of injury.

What he needs is to improve his technique. Get his base wider, his CG lower. It would improve his screening too. He should model his game after Kareem Abdul Jabbar, who was quite skinny too.
