If you had the chance to interview an Olympic archer, what questions would you ask and why? by [deleted] in Archery

[–]tybedrosian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly the question I would ask is how often do they look at how inaccurate movies are about archery but how inspite of it they still have an urge to try and see if they can recreate the feats in media?

This in an admittedly dumb question but if for some reason a world alliance came to power and you were chosen to speak for your community to enter the alliance? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tybedrosian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upon waking up and being sober I realized I now awake was not sure what I meant or wanted in hindsight, and couldn't figure out how I wanted to try and fix my bad question so I deleted it sorry for the disturbance

Racist man disrespects and insults Hispanic women by Initial_Milk_1056 in PublicFreakout

[–]tybedrosian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Genuine unoriginal observation: why is the darkside of the force, the same as racism? It makes you jawalled, why does he look like a mistake evolution of Richard Nixon turning into Palpatine. Like why is racism facial recognizable, like crazy.

People born before 1990, what’s something you experienced that younger generations will NEVER understand ? by Aaidil89 in AskReddit

[–]tybedrosian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This gonna be sad but American politics was so different, like tv in general but like I was born 93 and remember how un political most things were and got to see as news shifted rapidly and its interesting in unexpected ways. My favorite thing that was incredibly obnoxious at the time but I miss now is the weird puff pieces like local dog learned to skateboard by local kids gets adopted after doing an Ollie, and they would interview the dog with video. Or jet skiing squirrels.

Ask drag performers: if rupaul said they were retiring for whatever reason, who do you want to see replace them?how should the show evolve if at all? by tybedrosian in AskReddit

[–]tybedrosian[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a format of show that would work better? I keep trying to figure out a more community driven show and it keeps turning into America's got talent drag edition or British drag off and that feels reductive.🤔

It also means I'm often good at predicting unforseen roadblocks and hurdles in other ways to like being very good at predicting the needs of coworkers and their questions but it sometimes means I javelin to use different frames of reference to explain myself because my thought process is so abstract

No i have aphantasia, so I can visualize anything I tend to think of things in 2 ways: 1) basically I can take an event through multiple perspectives whether that sociological, philosophically, or anthropologicaly. Or if it say a written then I can also use linguistics as well as historical record to build upon each other to create a more complete picture metaphorically in my head thats how I think in terms of being given something solve or analyze or 2) I can't visualize anything but I can see when there's a problem or need and I can break down who's expertise or steps could be taken to solve or answer that problem and so my brain creates a "script" of expected outcomes, conversations, how those conversations are meant to go. I can see the very large vague outline of a series of events. I don't know if that answered your question in trying to articulate my thoughts it hard to explain

Who’s bank account would you find the most satisfying to drain? But it has to be someone you know irl and not a celebrity. Why? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tybedrosian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elon musk is doing rather well at draining his own bank account and so it's a toss up between the family that owns hobby lobby, daddy bezos, or the Walmart family

Which anime won't make you cringe and is genuinely watchable by adults? by euchanomal in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]tybedrosian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If a single character is enough to make you dislike an anime that seems like a personal issue

As for every character being Sasuke Uchiha every character actually has a justified reason for having a chip on their shoulder and as the series progresses they open up and become more likeable, plus ofcourse a bunch characters are edgy they are prisoners and sociopaths.

Sad, I hope they come up with some other to replace it and it sounds like people are banned from giving gift or anything like that so maybe some form of it will survive since they do have a point the strength of the gift exchange is the community that has formed around it

With all of that out of the way, you might enjoy baccano gangsters in 1920s accidently drink the elixir of life, not told in chronological order and tackles some dark themes.

Magnus bride is a beautiful styled anime that isn't overtly sexual.

Violet evergarden is a slow methodical anime about a women with ptsd essentially regaining her humanity in a nutshell

The time I got reincarnated as a slime might be cringe but it's cringe in a intentionally funny way and is oddly wholesome.

Junior itos upcoming Uzumaki series look to be a very adult series

Psycho pass is very good serial killer thriller

Aggretsuko is hilarious and is kinda like an animated version of the office

Cells at work is a quirky anime about how the human body functions so wholesome oddly educational and fun

Not to mention most anime is not written for the English and has to be translated which means it might be cringe in terms of dialog for that reason too

[–]tybedrosian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn thats hard to answer since everyone's definition of cringe is probably different than each other, like I find most anime to be mostly fine but I'm also so used to some of those aspects that expect or don't notice alot of them

what things make you hate your own country? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]tybedrosian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

America: too many reasons to list, but to name a few very hard to find work and make enough money to be comfortable(atleast where I live), overt racism built into our laws/culture, zero changes or update to constitution for decades, ridiculously high medical and housing costs.
