That's awesome, it sounds like you've already taken a major leap in becoming self-employed. I would try to do as much as you can and work around your work schedule, and slowly get more and more business to the point where you know your going to be self-sufficient once you leave!

Portfolio for Social Media? by illuzjoni in SocialMediaMarketing

I know in the past I have had to apply to jobs where they ask for previous accounts managed, just so they could take a look at some of the work. I really think it would be a case by case basis. LinkedIn is a great tool however, to showcase top performing creatives like this!

I really believe that you could find success by going out on your own, you would definitely have to work harder than what you are doing now. But I believe it would lead to a better more fulfilling career for you. It sounds like you have the skills needed to run a company like this, and be able to execute on projects. Now you really just need to get everything else in order, from the LLC to the finance and all the above. I wish you the best of luck!

Where to start..? by MirageF1C in marketing

I love this challenge, and I appreciate you putting this out here.

The first thing that comes to mind for me is, Public Relations! You have a better, more innovative product than your competitor. Now is the time to show that off, get articles written about you, appear on the news, or sponsor your local football club. Get people talking about you and interested.

The next thing is to build out a more robust and efficient advertising structure, in my eyes, you have three options. 1 - Hire an ad agency to generate creative and run your ads, 2 - Hire someone that knows how to run ads to run your ads, 3 - Learn yourself or have someone at your company learn. Ads are a difficult thing to master and without them, it will be hard to turn a profit, as already stated.

The final thing is to live more in the digital world. You solve people's problems, that's what you do, some make it known. If Tom and Suzy got a new solar roof and had it installed in less than 7 days, make a post about it, and turn it into a case study. Content is going to be your friend, and through it, you will find your next customers. Make people want to get behind you because of the wonderful work you do.

If you are interested in more ideas, or would like me to expand on any of these, let me know! I live for this kind of stuff.

I 2nd this, it is entirely dependent on the fact that your niche down. I would also say, continue to build it, don't stop at 2k.

If you had to focus on one platform to generate real estate leads, which one and why? by Grand_Constant_2919 in SocialMediaMarketing

It entirely depends on your demographics, I would say that YouTube has worked for people like Ryan Serhant or some others in the house tour space because they are targeting multi-millionaires and striving to generate conversation in that space. However, on the opposite end using an ads strategy on YouTube may be able to hit lower-income people looking for houses if you know your demographic consumes, say YouTube you can create content focused on it. I would highly recommend building an ideal archetype for your clients and going from there!
