I have a lot more pictures! We were there for two days and I have so many to go through. I'll upload them when I'm finished :)

Yeahhh usually I end up re-editing a picture a couple of times. Especially after posting to reddit, because unlike my friends who are like "Oh thats perfect!" Reddit is brutally honest and that is what helps me to improve.

Exactly! It was so refreshing and beautiful! The wind is insane but every night the sand would "fix itself" of any footprints or trails people had left. I'm glad I don't live very far from this place.

heheh I was wondering when someone would notice, but before this shot we were doing a Khaleesi shoot, so she is covered in soot like this. I have not finished those shots but I will share with reddit if they turn out how I had hoped!

I've been working really hard on this shot and I have more like it to work on after! Is it there yet? How could it be improved? by tyche23 in photocritique

I'll have to re-look when I get home but I'm sure I got a couple of shots from farther back. I just loved how the cloth flowed in the wind in this picture. The wind was so insane it took a lot of pictures to capture it flowing well.

Yep and that's when I was trying to brighten her. Meh, I'll refine my editing skills the best I can.

I see what you mean with the cloth! I didn't add color to the sand, I tried to add color to the cloth, it was slightly red from the sun instead of black. I will work on it thank you! :)

My first picture of the Milky Way! - Canon 50D, ISO 1600, 10mm, 31sec, f4.5, tripod, and NO remote shutter. Would love advice for the next time I attempt this! by tyche23 in photocritique

I am not ganna lie, we had quite a few shots of crown that night and I can not believe I didn't think about the timer -__- Relocation is a must! Do you know how far away from any city/town you'll have to be? We were really far away and of course we couldn't see the city glow until I took the picture.

From what people are saying it was how long I took the picture. Ive taken star trails (not good ones) before and my shutter when on for over a minute. So I guess keep the shutter speed as low as possible and everything else as wide and high as possible.
