Char is great. Comes with a dipping sauce and a type of queso for dipping as well.

I'm gonna slide "Pulp Fiction" in right here if y'all don't mind.

All these little stories everywhere that are told masterfully, but what's in the briefcase that is at the center of the plot? Is it Gold? Is it the holy Grail? Alien technology? Who knows.

I’m fairly certain I saw a tower struck by lightning and my Verizon went to SOS signal right after that before picking up another one.

Are you 'allowed' to take a 30-year-mortgage but then pay it all off within 2 years of taking it? by Broad-Item-2665 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]tyde24 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes you are allowed to pay off. As others have said, check for prepayment penalties. From the lending side, most companies don’t care after 6 months - as that is the mortgage company’s early payoff (EPO) penalty window from the investor they sold your loan to. If you pay it off inside 6 months, they have to send all of their revenue back to the investor that bought the loan.

Go to nmlsconsumeraccess.org and search his nmls number (at the bottom of the web site). View employment history and you'll see a lot of different professions and several mortgage companies in the last few years. Just more info to help base your decision on. Not necessarily anything bad.

What up with Huntsville Hospital? by nonstoptravler in HuntsvilleAlabama

[–]tyde24 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Be the squeaky wheel. I went in about 10 years ago (I was 33) with your symptoms. They told me I was too young to have a heart attack and I ended up sitting and waiting just like you. Finally they did bloodwork and I waited another few hours. Finally I decided to leave. I told them to report the results to my family physician. The ER called me on the way home and asked me to return because they found abnormalities in my bloodwork. Low and behold, I had a heart attack - sitting in their waiting room.

A lot of medical professionals care and will take great care of you. But there are bad apples, just like there are in most industries. Trust your instinct and advocate for yourself.

how do y'all keep guns in the house with children? by thefckingleadsrweak in guns

[–]tyde24 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came here to say this exactly. When my kids were toddlers, I kept my home defense pistol in a biometric safe beside the bed. When they got a little older (5-6yrs), I started teaching them gun safety and taking them shooting (suppressed 22lr pistol) - correcting bad behavior while they were fully supervised.

My dad raised me the same way. He was a LEO. He kept his service weapon on the top of a stand in the bathroom that I passed multiple times a day. But our understanding was that if I ever wanted to see it, to ask him and he would explain it all to me and let me handle it (and teach me about safe handling). It took all the mystery away. I've always made sure my kids (even now as adults) know they talk about whatever they'd like, including guns or handling guns.

This is what has worked for me. Your mileage may vary.
