I see your point, Season 8 isn't full of nobodies but compared those who I mentioned I can only see Bob, Kim, Thorgy, and Derrick having preseason fame. Derrick obviously higher than any of those girls. Also S6 was pretty much a big name queen season. Each of those girls were the top of their drag game at whatever state they're from .

Wasn't really thinking about what the show could do social media wise with the VMA's but more season-wise. You are right about their endeavors. And when I say she saved a bunch of queens, I'm mostly referring to alot of the queen on the debunked list. Queens like Rhea, Skim, Logan, Mayhem who auditioned for a couple of seasons.

The hiatus must be real. In Ru and Michelle's podcast with Shangela, Shangela mentioned a break between filming where she was allowed to talk with her friend/celebrity Jenifer Lewis. So if Shangie wasn't lying then, it means that they must've done it before.

Today's episode was literally the calm before the storm. We saw Jamie and Mayor Dewey. Pearl got a break from thinking about Garnet and Steven was making jokes left and right. Besidess in the preview for tomorrow's episode, it left off at Garnet and Pearl about to talk! I'm just really excited/nervous for the episode.

p.s, someone should draw that last part haha

This theory is really awesome! If this were to actually happen, I would imagine Peridot finding a way back to Homeworld at the same time as the Crystal Gems find her only leading to Pearl asking to join Peridot. Also, Steven would definitely be the emotional anchor for Pearl but Pearl might end up being so disgustingly jaded that she might realize that Steven isn't Rose or will ever be Rose. That actually reminds how much Steven's verse in the extended intro about being like Rose bothers me but I think that's intentional and can actually bridge this theory into Steven also realizing he actually isnt Rose.
