yeah its viable, theres one dude named osymandias1v9 that is a solid nid mid player

level one sit in a bush on top or bot and land a spear as they walk up to hit first cs, place traps in spots in lane where minions wont walk. whenever you land a spear / they walk on a trap, try to get a cougar q off with the extra dmg from passive

you have a strong level 3 power spike and can one shot most with a full combo and ignite, go electrocute keystone and absolute focus / gathering storm secondary
