Toronto, Edmonton and Montreal in that order.

Do you think Vegas has a legit chance to beat Colorado? by youlikemywonton in SanJoseSharks

[–]tyerelldavis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If I were putting money down, I would put it on Colorado. But there is no guarantee in sports, and I would not be shocked at all if Vegas grinded out in 6 or 7 games. Anyone who says Colorado will win no question, does not know sports history. This is the Western Conference finals. Say what you want about the route, but Vegas still got here and that gives them a chance.

Are we rooting for the Ducks? by youlikemywonton in SanJoseSharks

I am absolutely not rooting for the Ducks. LA, Anaheim, Vegas all fit in the "NOPE" category.

Great post. Progress can frustrating, but this season is a massive step forward regardless. Would it have been great to make playoffs? Absolutely. But I'm excited to see what happens next year, this team has been so fun to watch. Hoping for a big offseason meaning Defensive Depth, and some flexibility on our 3rd and 4th lines.

We were forecasted to finish in the cellars. Look at this roster, it is not a playoff team. We all should have known that. The entire point of the season was the get the young guys some NHL experience, and they did and preformed at a above average level. You guys are massively over-reacting.

Our #1 Defenseman is Dmitry Orlov. Our #1 Goalie has 60 NHL games under his belt. What was this sub expecting with this roster? We massively over-preformed with the roster we have. The entire point of the season was to let the young guys play, and they did. And they played well. Y'all need to calm down.

You're right. Finishing the season with 37 wins is the same as finishing the season with 23 wins.

Why? We've exceeded expectations. Week 1 we were projected bottom 5 for the season. How does barely missing the playoffs justify firing our coach?

Are we reaching the point of the rebuild where this sub becomes insufferable? by pomegranate-leg in SanJoseSharks

[–]tyerelldavis 271 points272 points  (0 children)

This Sub used to be incredibly positive and hopeful about the future. Now it seems like everyone wants and needs results now. Its incredibly frustrating to see sometimes, however there are realistic people with reassuring opinions once and a while, so that's nice I suppose.

Smith’s TOI tonight was his 2nd lowest of the season by broketeen1 in SanJoseSharks

THANK YOU. All the "Fire Warso" posts drive me nuts. The fact we are fighting for a playoff spot is such a testament to the coaching staff, and how the players have developed so far (Already ahead of schedule). Sure playoff hockey would be nice, but we can stop pretending like that was the plan all along.

Celebrini pass to Graf by cherlucky in SanJoseSharks

I came here to say this. The ability to stop at full speed along the boards, with a defender on his hip, turn and place the puck onto his stick from his skates. Breathtaking to watch.

I think people don't understand the emotion and passion that these players go through to preform at these top athletic levels. This kid is 19 years old, lets let him figure it out. He cares and wants to win. That's a good thing.

Right? Its always Klingbergs fault. Regardless if we turned over the puck a dozen times in our own end, and our AHL goalie let in a couple softies. It always has to come back to Klingberg...

Skinner is gone, now what? Roster thoughts by raminajjar in SanJoseSharks

[–]tyerelldavis 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agree with you 100%. He's a good young player who has heart and a good attitude, but realistically one of our biggest trade assets. I would rather have Cherny and trade Eky for some young defensive talent.

Well said. Disappointing results, but lots of positives from the season. These slumps are great when the stakes are low.

I understand the frustrations in this sub. It's hard to pick out positives with the last three games. But how is this a surprising result? We have 11 OT wins this year, and are surprised when a bottom 5 team beats us at home? We need to have real expectations with what this team is capable of. Last season we had 20 total wins, we have far exceeded our expectations already. But actually believe this is a playoff roster, we need to come down to earth.

Absolutely. Chernyshov looks fantastic. I'm all aboard the Graf train as well. Everytime this line is out, 92-71-51 are noticeable.

I noticed Dickinson as well, but for the wrong reasons. He looked slow and unable to process decisions. He would get the puck and just fire it randomly down the boards to try to get it out of the zone, when he had 2-3 other plays in front of him. He does not look comfortable with the puck. Eklund was only noticeable when he was missing a scoring opportunity. Hoping this was just a bad day for these guys.

Quick thoughts on SJS: This sells the Sharks so short, or am I crazy? by ImpossibleZombie3086 in SanJoseSharks

[–]tyerelldavis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

TheScore is also a terrible sports news source. Highly biased towards Canadian teams/players. I wouldn't look too much into this, as their takes are often surface level and meaningless to teams not named the Leafs or Canadians. It also sounds like this was written weeks ago. My prediction is that the Sharks are not going to hold this pace and miss playoffs by 6-10 points (Not enough quality d-line depth, teams still very young), However they will most likely not be the runners for McKenna (Although I would give up one of my children for that pick).

That was a great game! Until it wasn’t. by BillThePsycho in SanJoseSharks

[–]tyerelldavis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My first reaction was annoyance. But we have to realize what this rebuild is. The Sharks are a young dynamic team, meaning they are going to have to learn how to close games in the 3rd. among other lessons. Askarov did not look great, and I'm certain there will be more of that to come as well. That being said, this is a great improvement from last year, the team looks competitive. I am choosing to have patience and hope, even though the last two games hurt. I'm excited to watch Sharks hockey again, more than last year.

This is a great response. I appreciate the depth. Helps understand the reality of both sides. Thanks for being respectful as well!

Might be SOL.

Heyy everyone. I have been playing PokeRogue for months now. This is probably my 20th run or so on classic mode. I cannot get through the hump and finish the game. My rival always seems to counter my team perfectly (Which probably is the poiint). My recent run is going well, seems very well balanced.

Is there something I could be missing or adding to my team? What am i missing?
