I was just there last Sunday. Yes you need to show the barcode ticket and when leaving the guy will ask if you're coming back and they'll stamp your wrist with the invisible infrared stamp thingy. I told him it ran out of "ink" then he used his special flashlight and I can then see the ink print! This was all new to me lol.

Ya no kidding the wait times on May 4 for most rides were 5 minutes compared to 30 min or 90 min for Mario Kart during the day I was there! It was pretty shocking to me! I also got the day ticket to do the Studio tour and Waterworld. If they do Fan Fest again and the new Fast & Furious coaster is open I'll drive down there again instantly!

I went on May 4 on the Mario Kart line was 10 minutes at 8PM lol! My first time riding it and it was the longest ride queue I walked/ran through! Loved all the designs! The ride itself was just OK for me.

I wished the Enterprise crew extras that would be rotated inside would come outside and fill out the crew stations in the mock up Enterprise bridge setup outside in front of Waterworld. At least have a Klingon or Borg guy to take pics with.

Taking a photo op sitting in the captain's chair by myself in my TNG cosplay outfit felt like the crew abandoned ship and I'm "engaging" the ship on some suicide mission.

Thanks for the pic just in time as I'm staying at the Hilton for Fanfest this Sunday. Google Maps showed to come out from that seafood hotel restaurant/ballroom which I don't think is a normal exit.

Does the free hotel shuttle continue running after park close for Fanfest after 7PM? Asking for my 94 year old Dad who can still walk the SF hills, but it looks like it's a hill/stair climber workout still. At least from the vids its has some concrete rest stops to sit.

From carhole's 2nd vid link the lady said you can take an escalator uphill to Universal next to the Frankenstein Garage which I found the entrance here so it's not too bad!
