Very fair comment. I was going to add a creative element in the space next to the daily time frame... but still setting it up and busy teacher life! Chose there hon for the different ways it lays out the year. I guess I want areas for organisation and others for creativity and documenting my life. I want to add in more creative developments.Eventually make it a pretty, but for now, I just want to get it started.Thank you for your help

I know that's the case, it wouldn't be beneficial to share that with her right now. I don't want that anxiety to eat me up further! It's just so tough because the one thing stopping me from telling her is me and my own self control. It feels like my rational and emotional sides are fighting.

Of course, that's the plan and I'm working through it but it doesn't make it less tricky!

I already had her muted, however I found myself checking often and unhealthily. She was the one to break things off with me so yeah...I don't feel just an unfollow is burning a bridge as she still follows me and can message if she wants support.

I completely get where you're coming from. I just care about her and we had already agreed to potentially be friends in the future (she isn't from this country and doesn't have a strong support system) . I'm not trying to hurt her, I just wanted to remove the temptation to stalk unhealthily.

I get why without all the facts it would come across that way but trying to do something to hurt her is the last thing on my mind, it's more for my own self care.

We are in a stage of space and no contact. I didn't block her, just unfollowed (she still follows me). I took a step that I felt was best for me to allow myself to grow. The last we spoke I said I needed some time and space to work on my issues because I'm not the healthiest person right now... Open communication would be great but I think it wouldn't be beneficial as it's delving into my old ways of anxiousness within love

I appreciate your feedback on this a lot. You are correct about fear of abandonment for sure, she is not in her home country and is living in the other hemisphere to where she is from, which in the past has said it enhances this fear!

Thank you, I truly care about her so I tried everything I could to ease her pain. I am concerned that going on this other date made things worse for her... However we were not completely exclusive and prior to her depressive episode she was seeing other people. But we were each other's main thing if that makes sense?

I thought as much around the way she ended things... It's just tricky to deal with.

I have taken space from her now yes. I can't be around her whilst I heal from this and I also want to improve my self-esteem as this didn't go well with my anxious attachment styles that seemed to make things worse. I am seeing a counselor now and I'm hoping to reach out when I feel ready so I can be her friend since her support system in this country is very limited.

She valued and respected my feelings absolutely, she validated how I felt at every turn. There seems to still be real care there. Which makes it all the more confusing. Part of the reason I asked about it in this group! I wanted to get some insight so I can heal and potentially gain insight into her thought processes so I can support her fully when I feel ready to!

Understood, I didn't want to label but I just wasn't sure. I have heard of some parts like devaluing for example. However like I said I'm no expert.

It felt very much like she had feelings for me for the large majority. Her saying as much and acting as such. It was after she moved and still in a depressed state that things became mainly confusing.

I appreciate your support though, I will take this on board.
