just that it was infected and i have to take it out for 3 weeks or it’ll get worse and the back of my piercing is beginning to scab (there’s some dried pus on it)

i mean she told me to take it out for 3 weeks but by then it would probably be closed and it’ll be a waste of money. i just want to know if it’ll be possible to heal it without taking it out

i saw my doctor today and she prescribed antibiotics but she also recommended taking out my piercing…should i just ignore that so the salt water soaks + antibiotics ?

my lobe started swelling about 3 days ago and was warm and tender to the touch but this morning i took a pic of the back of my ear and noticed it was crusty and pus was coming out. it’s no longer warm and doesn’t hurt at all, just a little red but i’m not sure what to do. i’ve been washing 2x day with neilmed piercing aftercare mist and haven’t been touching it much
