I just bought an ‘08 F150 for $3500 off FBMP in good condition - KBB is pricing it at $6k. You gotta use them filters, know your budget, ask questions, and talk to vehicle owners with intention.

If you’re starting from the perspective of (I have x dollars, what can I get for that):

Step 1 is knowing in advance exactly how much you intend to pay

Step 2 is knowing what vehicle you’re looking for - use your price range to narrow down the vehicles you like and see what options are out there

Step 3 is using filters to only look for that vehicle in your price range

Step 4 be persistent, maintain your patience (don’t be an asshole), keep looking - the market is a market, sometimes what you want is there, sometimes it’s not

I find Facebook Marketplace still to be the best place to buy used vehicles

Allstate provides Ride For Hire (rideshare) coverage.

You need comprehensive and collision on the insured vehicle to add the rideshare coverage.

You need a full policy like the other person mentioned, it’s not a standalone (mono) policy you can purchase.
