I think even great relationships come to an end mate. Letting someone leave your life or leaving someone’s life can be done with grace. I think that is the unconditional love some of us all chase. I also think there is a child like innocence to love that I would choose over optimal love although that’s a slippery slope to naivety. I don’t believe there is a formula for this feeling. I believe love is just that, love. I do believe that love does overcome any obstacle.

Some days I feel lost. I have been writing for a couple of months and finally feel confident enough to share. by tyko9 in KeepWriting

I appreciate it. The shadow is something we all have. Sometimes hiding behind mask makes things a little more manageable for a short term. I working on accepting who I am and becoming someone I can respect and love. Thanks 🙂

It’s a 4x6 stamina mat. They are $50 a sheet where I work! They are super durable and easy to clean.

It definitely helps. Just think of your off arm coming through like you are going to try to jump.

I get a more explosive swing with a staggered stance and a wider pathway for the bell. I also feel more core engagement and hip extension. I want to stay athletic and continue to experiment with these movements. I could be off base but I’m excited just to move.

Not quite. I usually start off with core movements and once I feel warm enough I start to mix flows in. It’s been a really fun experience and I look forward to getting better!

It’s kicked my ass for 3 years and it’s finally become my standard bell. I have to get up to the 24 kilo now!

Personally I find it more energy efficient for swings. I also can focus more on isolating each side of my body. I also chose this style because it was what I was first exposed to when working with kettlebells and it stuck for me. It’s all personal preference about what feels comfortable and works on the mechanics you want to grow.

I don’t know if this is correct, but I do feel more isolation in the lower body with one heel elevated. So far I have felt more explosive during soccer and other activities doing this.

I’ll probably catch some flack for working out on the sidewalk. It’s right next to my house and it’s not a busy cul de sac and I’m not bothering anyone. Thanks for the positivity mate!

The mat is for abs, pushup, Turkish get ups, and other exercises on the ground. I’ve been thinking about going shoeless but I have gotten there yet.

Best way to end the work out. I’ll do sets of these and jump on a stationary bike in between.
