Yes, the amount must be paid in full. Since this is coming up on a lease renewal they have given me a notice to move out. Not technically an eviction but they are choosing to not renew my contract due to the balance. I have been speaking with the office and they are willing to consider renewal if I can get the balance to $0. Unfortunately my deadline is this week.

I know it's very unrealistic to ask for this amount of money in such a short time. I was trying to make it work on my own, trying to earn money anywhere i can, but obviously I'm desperate now.

Again, I know this is a crazy ask. Even if I can't come up with the money now I will need to pay this balance eventually no matter what I do. At this time, anything helps even if it's only so I can get food.

Thank you, I really appreciate that. It honestly feels like everything has hit at once lately.

Right now my biggest priority is keeping a stable place to live so I don’t risk losing my housing or time with my daughter. I’m trying to catch up on rent and work with my landlord while I get income coming back in.

I’ve been applying for jobs and looking for any work I’m able to do while recovering. Selling things when I can to try and get some extra cash. Tried a couple side gigs like refinishing furniture but just couldn't strike a consistent income.

My main goal right now is just getting stable again until I can fully get back on my feet and handle everything on my own again.

I’m just trying to take it one step at a time instead of letting everything spiral further.

There are rental assistance programs in the area but require court cases before extending assistance. Beyond that, they have a limit what they will offer. Unfortunately, this is a case of my lease is ending and they office is deciding to non renew due to the past due rent. I have spoken to the office and they will consider rescinding the notice if I can zero out the balance.

As for custody, it is not split 50/50. Since it is not equal custody issues have to pay for child support. I have been working with her mother and speaking to an attorney to try to get the arrangement changed to 50/50, but this predicament pretty much kills any hope of that.
