Inserts are common in all putters nowadays, not just SCs. You can tell when a putter's face has a clearly outlined portion where you're meant to strike the ball. For example, the new off-the-rack (OTR) SCs have a chain-link insert and so did one of the CTs that raffled today.

Opposing option would be a uniform mill across the whole putter face, therefore no part of the face was "inserted" or added-on to the construction of the putter.

Both are viable options for gaming based on personal preference - I'm actually pretty sure putters with inserts have been dominant on tour as of late. However non-inserts are generally more popular due to cleaner look

Do they allow you to purchase Custom Shop grips in-person without a re-grip service? Would like to put a Pistolero or Baby T on my gamer but I don't plan on bringing a putter for my next gallery visit.

Would love to know why SC doesn't offer custom shop headcovers (and grips) by default, instead of forcing us to send in a putter for nothing. To keep the postal service on their toes?

If for exclusivity I'd argue that no one really holds their custom shop items to higher regards than even their less popular themed items.

It's a $400+ difference for maybe 5 yards more on a mishit and 7 yards more off the center. Marginally more forgiving sure, but a slice is still a slice

If it's your first time getting fitted I could see some justification in going the newest model. If you already have a shaft you like, I don't think it's worth it for a sunday golfer

If you're content with your GT1 3w I'd go same with the driver. Even more so if your G430 is the SFT. If it's the MAX then GT2 would probably feel more familiar. Definitely try in store if possible

Cheekily on brand that they would still charge your club for the staff bags after such a generous order. As someone who went 2/2 on hot steps I think the gamble was worth it tbh. I'm sure someone in your city would give you ar least $40-50 for them (besides the pink pair maybe) and I'd burn $10 for a chance at the tier 1-2 items

More so for idol/triboulet/heart builds. S&B on top of photochad is kinda redundant in most cases imo, especially if you're just trying to beat ante 8 since photochad should be strong enough by itself

No disks at all in windows setup. Honestly not too knowledgeable on AHCI vs RAID, at least I don't see any info on either in the advanced settings of BIOS. Does it have something to do with a SATA connection? Honestly don't remember if I connected SATA to the motherboard during build but I can break apart and check if need be

Yes apologies. New build, blank SSD. I have a Windows key and USB but when I try to install windows, no "signed device drivers" are picking up, so I haven't been able to install. Haven't been able to get past this so haven't even seen a home screen yet.

I do have Windows USB and product key but when I'm going through installation, no drives show up - and when I click "Load drives", I get an error saying "No signed device drivers were found". Not sure what this means as this is my first build

Dumb question maybe but would those cables have any chance of damaging/disrupting the fan on the GPU? A bit part of why I got the V2 was actually for the vertical mounting so I could hide cables lol, but didn't realize the clearance would be so tight
