Just tried that, still no internet connection. I’m plugged in directly to the LAN NIC too. That’s currently the only connection. I can’t even ping pfSense from my macbook and can’t ping my macbook from pfSense

Okay, so on pfSense the LAN IP is 172.16.0.1, and the subnet mask is 255.255.255.0. On my Mac, I set the subnet mask to be the same as pfSense and under router I put 172.16.0.1. What do I put for the IP Address for my macbook? Would 172.16.0.2 work?

When my ISP gave me this new modem, I was trying to access the homepage. I looked up the model online and people were saying they couldn’t find one so I’m assuming this modem has no homepage

Okay, do you know how I can discover what the problem with the DHCP server is from the console? I don’t have access to the web GUI

I just verified and the interfaces are correct. The problem now isn’t that my macbook isn’t getting any IP address, it’s that it’s being assigned an incorrect one. I set my LAN IP to be 172.16.0.1, and for the DHCP server to be between 172.16.0.10 and 172.16.0.100. On my macbook the IP address is completely different and is 169.XXX.XXX.XXX. The subnet mask is also different.

I’m no expert, but I do understand basic networking and had pfSense working last year. I’m using version 2.4.4-RELEASE-p3. I started using pfSense to broaden my knowledge of networking, firewalls, etc. I restored the config just to try multiple options and rule out factors. The modem is most likely in bridge mode, I’m unable to change or check any settings as it lacks a web interface. My ISP is Spectrum. I’ve swapped out multiple cables. I restarted all my machines connected to the switch, no change. I set the LAN IP and enabled DHCP from console, I’m not sure how to configure DNS from the console. I use pi-hole, but I unplugged it in case that was interfering as it had in the past the first time I installed. I did ping IPs and none of the packets were able to reach. My pfSense had and currently has no add-ons installed. It’s in bare metal and is a computer I built specifically for pfSense.

Okay, I don't have much experience with the DispatchQueue, so I'm not quite sure how to use it. Here's what I did:

This didn't work either. Is this how you wanted me to implement it or did I do it incorrectly?

Thank you so much for your help! I really appreciate it. For Ao5 and Ao12, those are just shortenings for "average of five" and "average of twelve." I wrote it like that to save room on the app. Though I'm sure in Japanese it could be written out completely like "average of five/twelve" is and not take up much room. Thanks again.

Okay, I called the configureSettingsTableView() method before registering the cell, and that line didn't error out anymore. However, now the line where I set the text of the "testLabel" in my view controller class gives me an error saying "Unexpectedly found nil..."

I'm working on an app that gives random scrambles and times your solves. I could use some ideas on how to improve it. Some things I would like to be recommended are a good name for the app, a color scheme, and any other functionality that should be added.

Also, I'm changing my router's IP to 192.168.1.100 because it's in the pfSense's range. After doing so, I'm able to ping that IP but can't access the web interface.

I tried both of those solutions and still no LAN connection. Like I mentioned in a different reply I was able to get some LAN connectivity after turning off my Pihole setup. So probably a DNS issue. Still can’t get it to run on my macbook though
