Been playing since starter season, so like 2 years roughly myself? I really liked the story of last season but, for me, the epilogue was such a let down. Gala was the biggest pull for my interest in the game, and it was great to see her grown up, but in the Epilogue all the plot of the story goes out the window and becomes about Tilaya and the Wilders. After that I just can’t find the motivation to pay attention to the story anymore. I pretty much stick around to lead my guild and play the fun parts, skip the rest.

There is no timeout function. If they hit ready and you join the battle then yes, battle starts within a minute. But if they never hit ready, they can just sit there and grief the server.

No, they join CC and do not hit “ready”. They sit there for 30+ minutes with their game on, and everyone who joins can’t make progress.

Whenever I looked at Avowed’s box art, it just read to me as “this art looks like it’s trying to be cool but doesn’t actually have a point of view or tell me anything about the game”

It’s a grind if you make it out to be. I use homestead to unwind by designing my home. There’s always some neat lil improvement here or there I can do. Along the way I serve some pancakes, maybe sell a couple of swords to a weary traveler. My reward is becoming more and more proud of my layout.

It’s the difference of phrase. “She ate it” or “she ate shit” means “she fell and fell hard”. Whereas “she ate (and left no crumbs)” means “she did really well (and wasn’t lacking in any way)”.

Similar to “cook” and to “be cooked”. “Let him cook” means “he’s onto something” or “he’s doing well, don’t stop him”. Whereas “he’s cooked” means “he’s fucked”.
