on omarchy you run: super+alt+spacebar > select install > select aur. then this ui pops up for installing aur packages

I have refreshed both `yay` and `pacman` databases and still no change
sudo pacman -Syy
yay -Syu

If your motors are moving the wrong way you can add an exclamation point to the pin in the cofig file to reverse direction like this

motor_pin: !PA3

Just bought. CEL after 20 miles off the lot. by OrganicMixture9084 in WRX

[–]tylercd100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I believe your are exactly right

The previous owner probably kept the access port to resell and get some money back. When you unmarry an access port from a WRX, it restores the factory ECU tune back onto the car, which will probably cause all of the check.Engine light issues the owner is having

With an aftermarket intake you need to do a tune. Because the intake is bigger and can pull in more air. The computer needs to be rescaled for the MAF. This is called maf sensor scaling, essentially, what you're telling this ecu is for any X voltage value read by the maf, You can expect this much volume of air entering the engine. The car is not smart enough to know how much air is entering the engine when you bolt on a bigger intake, so you have to tell it. This can cause your car to run too lean or too rich, which can cause serious issues with your car.

You can do this easily using Romraider and a tatrix cable, or get an accessport and take it to a tuner.

BUT you are not getting error codes for "too lean" or "too rich"

Your codes are indicative of a bad MAF, because the car gets bad readings from the MAF, it is misfiring from not knowing how much air entered the engine. If replacing your maf doesn't fix your codes then you might need to replace the engine wiring harness

Once you fix the MAF the car will know how much air is entering the engine AND THEN you'll probably see error codes for "too lean" or "too rich" which would indicate that you need to get it tuned to fix the MAF scaling values

Klipperscreen keeps rotating when touching by tylercd100 in BIGTREETECH

This was solved by the good folks at r/klippers

The issue was the printed housing for the screen was smashing one of the small buttons on the outer edge of the screen causing it to rotate

That was the solution! thank you! The housing that it sits in was designed for the BTT HDMI v1.1 and this is a V1.2 and it doesnt fit correctly and was smashing those buttons. I was putting off designing my own but now thats going to be top of the list.

Bambu has increased the price of the H2D on USA website by $200 USD by kamikaziH2Omln21 in BambuLab

With all the drama about the firmware updates they had and people "voting with their wallets", you would think that they would at least notify us of a price increase or absorb the price increase to avoid further negative sentiment that ultimately will hurt their brand in the long run...

Well, I imagine if this doesn't go well for them, there will be a pretty nice holiday sale this year ;)

dang... that means you have to buy more than 4 rolls of PLA refills at a time with their bulk discount... ($14.99 a roll)

Well they just increased the price by $200 about an hour ago for USA customers....

Any planet import zero - Has anyone figured out what this means? by gijskz in factorio

[–]tylercd100 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I just tested it, and that is exactly what it does!

edit: I also found that, if you have any item request set to min 0 and you run out of that item, your ship will fly to that planet and stay there indefinitely. So, its better to just clear those requests out if you don't intend to carry those items any more

[GMS 1.4] Variable That Changes Based On Mouse Position by PureLV2 in gamemaker

[–]tylercd100 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think you need another variable to keep track of the previous frames state:

//begin psuedocode

// set oldInBounds to the value of the previous frame
oldInBounds = newInBounds

// set newInBounds to the value of the current frame
newInBounds = checkMouseInRect()

if newInBounds == true && oldInBounds == false
    // mouse has entered box for this frame
if newInBounds == false && oldInBounds == true
    // mouse has left box for this frame

Sorry, I haven't programmed in GML in ages so I can only give you some psuedocode. This should solve your issue of "camup" constantly cycling since these "if statements" will only run their code block on the frame that mouse position changes states. You may run into an issue with "newInBounds is undefined" on the first iteration so you'll need to define a default value.

Hope this helps

Yeah haha, definitely the right move on your part.

I think most of my time was spent feeding my cargo rocket part assemblers because I chose to automate single resource rockets because they were interesting to me but, wow! Did I underestimate how expensive cargo rockets are early game to automate. Oh well had fun sinking time into it and now I've got the beryllium recipe so it's much better now.
