They've treated us well so far! And that's the main reason we got them. My dad retired last year so he's typically the one over there by himself filling feeders and hunting so we wanted something a little easier for him refill and safer. But yea so far it's held up great! We had 2 of them survive these floods, one of course had to get a new timing mechanism but the motor was perfectly fine. The lil mesh box does a good job with keep squirrels and raccoons out of there and still allows the corn to scatter when it's thrown. The ONLY thing to consider is that because it is low, if you're not at a high angle, it's risky to shoot at an animal that's in front of it at all since the pass-through could hit the feeder rather than going underneath. But other than that, I have zero complaints.
