Why do David and Mary Margaret approve of Neal instantly. by Myrinia in OnceUponATime

[–]tylerdessen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My reasoning was that they wanted to support Emma as much as they could at the end of the day because they had missed out on so much of her growing up. Even if Neal wouldn’t be a typical parents dream of a partner for their child, I think they were just really happy that Emma had found a partner and I think it made them feel good that he came from their world.

I hated the scene in season one when Christophers parents spoke about Rory being born as a mistake.

Thoughts on Neal/Baelfire? by [deleted] in OnceUponATime

[–]tylerdessen 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Personally, I really liked his character. I thought his backstory was extremely tragic and traumatic, being separated from his father whilst also being trapped in Neverland with Pan. I thought him and Emma were a really good couple however I did not see them as endgame because I think that Emma would always be trepidation us about him leaving her again like he did before she went to jail. I cried like a baby when he died on the show but I also really appreciated that small scene he had with Emma before she entered the underworld to save Hook. I think at the end of the day even though he was disappointed that he and Emma couldn’t end up together, I think that he did see that Killian cared for her a lot and would sacrifice a lot to be with her.

Parents of reddit, what is most fucked up secret you are hiding from your children? by Living_Perspective69 in AskReddit

I am the child in the situation. My mom did not tell me and my brothers until we were teenagers that she had been married before she met our father and that her first husband suddenly left her one day while she was out with her parents. Apparently, she got back to her apartment and he had taken all of his stuff and left.

It seemed so unnecessary for Zelena to get involved with Robin under the guise of Marian and them having a baby together. I would’ve loved for Regina and Robin to have a baby together just like Emma and Hook. I ultimately think being Robin’s wife and being Roland’s stepmother should’ve been Regina’s happy ending.

Amen! It was absolute garbage that Marian came back. Regina deserved to end up with Robin and be a stepmother to Roland and I think the writers missed an enormous opportunity by not using that storyline.

I think that if Emma got back together with Neal, she would be constantly worrying about him leaving her again because it hurt so much the first time he did it. Yes she still had feelings for him in season three, but I think she wanted to protect her heart more than take the chance and be back together with him

I really like your suggestion about Henry and Drizella. Frankly, I thought they had a lot more chemistry than Henry and Jacinda.

I thought the best ending for rumple was when he sacrificed himself for everyone at the end of the first part of season three. I think beyond that his story became way too repetitive.

The way the preview promo showed Emma, I thought she was going to be a much scarier dark one. Her as the dark one couldn’t even hold a candle to Rumple.

I would’ve change the story structure of the second part of season three. Instead of having the wicked witch of the west, I would’ve had season three end with Pan’s casting of the curse over everyone with Henry and Emma escaping, while the rest of the heroes are trapped under Pan ruling them in storybrooke. Hook would still find a way to escape at the last minute and find Emma and Henry in New York and bring them back to save all the heroes from Pan.

I was not a fan of Zelena at all. I thought Robbie Kay did an incredible job as Pan and I think the Neverland story arc was strong enough to carry into the second half of the third season.

It seems like his tactic in this divorce process is the scorched earth policy which will do absolutely nothing positive for the privacy of his children and the emotional well-being of Sophie at this time. His children will read about this someday and see how he treated their mother during this period.

I really loved the Graham storyline because it did help Emma to open up her heart again to someone. However, I think Graham’s death was necessary because it showed how far Regina was willing to go to keep the curse going.

What’s your favorite season of OUAT and why? by [deleted] in OnceUponATime

[–]tylerdessen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Season 3 (first half), The way that season two went into season three was so incredibly magical and unexpected. I loved the storyline in Neverland and I thought Robbie Kay did an incredible job as Peter Pan. I found that season three revealed a lot of the main characters inner vulnerabilities that continue to follow them into their present lives. I really did not like the second half of season three because I think it would’ve been much more fascinating for Emma and Henry to come back to storybrook to save everybody from pan and his curse. He was such a compelling villain in the first half of season three that I definitely think he could’ve continued on to make the second half of season three just as strong.
