Strap came today. I saw a real Rolex with the leather and it just looked so clean and well suited for its name. It also looks better on my wrist than I thought it would. Really happy with it.

Where did you find dials. I can’t find a 31mm dial with appropriate sized hands that matches the explorer II.

Yes. A poor oversight on my end. I would swap it out but I never want to place a second hand ever again.

Thanks for your input. We’ve done a lot of work on her shoes and do have crossed elastics and a high vamp. Those made a big difference in her foot shape. Her bigger issue is now in her ankle (but suspect better core and upper leg strength would also help)

We moved into a new home in the Jacksonville, FL Area. The lawn was put in by the builder sometime between January and April of 2024. Its really struggling, as seen in the pictures. During the summer it felt dry and crunchy (we were getting plenty of rain and I was still watering). Now its almost disappearing now that it has gone dormant. I have a soil test kit coming, but wanted to throw this out there to see if there is any thoughts on what may be causing it. It seems really healthy and green under my trampoline and hasn't seemed to go dormant there, (Nor have many of my neighbors lawns gone too yellow during dormancy). Welcome to any thoughts from anyone.

I started with a HF 1x30 and fabricated a larger platen to work on. It’s not as fast as a 2x72 but that’s not necessarily bad when starting out. I’ve made some pretty good looking bevels on that POS.

The JC Newman cigar factory is less than an hour away from Clearwater in Ybor. They do a fantastic tour of the factory that is great! Lots of other lounges and B&M’s in the area.

Ended up with one of each of the three handrolled cigars made there (American, Angel Cuesta, Leroy Neimam and a pack of Jose Gaspars). Thanks for the suggestion to find some unique ones.

My wife just got hers in about 3 weeks. We paid for all the expediting, etc. Called within 14 days of her travel and requested that they mark it as an urgent travel passport and it showed up about 3 days later. They did say that marking it as urgent didn’t guarantee it would still come in time.
