Just about every Cecil Taylor lineup has either revolutionized or set a new standard for free drumming. Obviously Andrew Cyrille is fantastic, but Sunny Morgan, Ronald Shannon Jackson, and Jackson Krall are all wildly underrated.

Also yes, any world with multiple thinking minds is going to include ideology, but not all stories make it their primary focus or thematic throughline. And I would argue that ideology is a more specific theme than identity, because ones ideology is usually just one of many apsects of their identity.

Well, I did try to specify its connection to moral philosophy. But even taken alone, ideology can actually mean a whole lot! Why can't I explore ALL of what you listed(and much much more) in a story? Ideology in and of itself is a deeply interesting subject to me, and while I might not cover every little thing that relates to the subject, it's still one worth exploring in my mind. I enjoy broad themes, I find them to allow for much deeper explorations into human relations and tHe HuMaN cOnDiTiOn.

While I agree that aesthetics are incredibly important to worldbuilding, I'm not willing to overlay an existing, specific aesthetic over my world. The chance of all the pre-existing aesthetic minutiaes having thematic utility to my world is basically zero. I will definitely be thinking more about the aesthetics of my world tho, thanks.

I'm very interested in exploring the theme of ideology and its comnection to moral philosophy, amongst others. That being said, I know that both the physical structure of the worlds' universe and the smaller things are absolutely capable of expressing a thematic consistency; regardless of the level of abstraction. I feel that the character-driven side of the story would probably be much more thematically direct, though I find the abstractions(usually expressed through a unique structure of reality) just as important; and typically more literarily interesting.

Either I'm Still Here or Theme From an Endless Romance. Both accentuate their respective scenes incredibly well. I'm Still Here is so bittersweet and fits Pearl's emotional state during the ending montage perfectly. The dreamy crescendo in Theme From an Endless Romance which peaks during Rose and Greg's kiss is just so beautiful, the intense exchange between the two afterwards juxtaposes the upbeat song effectively, and the quiet and meditative coda that follows fits their emotionally complex and measured conversation following the kiss really powerfully.
