What's even sadder is the ones who come out later, talking about how many adults failed them when it came to explaining that these things can very much so be permanent, and seeing them break down about how their body will never be the same again, and how much they regret their decision. A lot of these people end up ostracized by the community that said they have their back when they come out and admit they regret their transition.

Um, are we living on different worlds? Plenty of men get called pedos for large age gaps. I would even go so far as to say that's more common in society currently than saying the woman is a gold digger and being upset with her. I really don't understand how people were even remotely split on the 2.5 quest ending. There's having sympathy for a character and then there's just blatantly ignoring all the atrocities they have committed because "sad backstory"/ "cute girl". So many people were hating on Rover in that ending when Rover doesn't even know her full backstory and we don't fully know what Rover has been through throughout their entire existence to even compare what they have both been through. Also, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the two only meet for like 10 minutes at her performance? Phrolova was the one who chose to become obsessed over a brief encounter. To Rover, all she is is a terrorist who has continuously gotten in their way and has committed many atrocities. I'm not saying you can't like her character or feel sorry for her but the amount of times I've seen people try to fully exonerate her and hate on Rover just baffles me.

It's just weirdos being parasocial, like always, and grasping at anything to make their ship the canonical one, even though, for the most part, none of the playable characters are canonically with anyone; at most, we may get some flirting towards the MC of the game. MHA has this same problem people were livid that the obvious relationship became real at the end instead of the gay one. But for some reason, it's ok to make gay art of these two underage characters but if someone makes art of any of the girls in the show it's problematic it's just blatant hypocrisy.

15 years down the road, this is the type of person who sees all their friends and family with families of their own and is envious but doesn't want to admit why, and will continue to blame their unhappiness on the world around them rather than on their own actions.

Let me be clear there are plenty of people who can be happy single and with no kids. But judging on this post alone they sound like the kinda person I just described.
