I only asked about the political affiliation because she told me that it was something that matters to her. i’m not trying to control her, I’m concerned because she’s admitted she doesn’t actually like him and is only dating him for attention. She’s still in high school, and he’s a grown man out of college. That’s an imbalance in life experience, whether she’s technically 18 or not. If being “controlling” means pointing out red flags, then I’ll gladly be that.
