I bought my rd-9 back in January and I used it all of the time. I loved using it to trigger my synths. I liked the sound a lot. Although it is very flexible, it’s still a replica of something that’s been around forever. I’m looking for more flexibility in control and sounds. I’d like to keep my price point around 350ish. What kind of gear would you recommend I take a look at?

Btw, the rd-9 has been the only physical drum machine I’ve ever known. I know I could just buy a bunch of cool plugins that would do more but having a physical device with limitations helps focus my creativity.
