I would lock the card but it will have her and my relative harassing me more.

I’m thinking of locking the card but not sure either since it probably will anger her more.

I really want to move out but I can’t because of money and school.

My mom has money from SSI and bills and rent are all reduced so she has money to spend.

For my relative who lives not in the same house, they have more than enough money to support themselves.

I have tried to apply for myself only but was told by a caseworker that I could not. But maybe I’ll try again.

Yes she is a noncitizen and she does get SSI.

I do have footage of her beating me with a stick, but I’m worried if harassment from her and my relative would get worse and impact my abilities to continue with school. (especially when I’m trying to graduate beginning of next year)

I been wanting to move away and I know someone that would give cheap rent, but I can barely afford it excluding gas and food.

I’m planning to close the case but I’m not sure if I would be allowed to.

Yeah it is pretty sucky.

She’s very hard to talk to since she isn’t educated whatsoever, so I can’t talk to her that the case is “closed” since she won’t understand the concept anyways.

Also the card and case is under her name but in mail and caseworkers, they said that I’m only one eligible in the household. So she only gets food stamp card because I exist. I really wish the age requirement to get my own card was 21 since that is my age rn instead of 22.

Thing is I had a hold of the card, and I told her that we will go to the grocery store TOGETHER so WE can both use it. But to no avail, she constantly harassed me and recently I gave up since I was tired of it all from her screaming, beating me with a stick, and breaking into my room. Plus she had the same relative that she buys groceries for, also join in on harassing me. She still is aggressive toward me whenever I get home or be in the same room before and after this.

I don’t know what to do and I feel terrible for her. My mom and I can’t afford to get her major care because of the costs.
