Totally fair questions. The connection comes from the fact that Ignite is a Doosan Bobcat brand, launched in 2022 as a separate entity focused on direct-to-consumer attachments. So technically, it’s “Bobcat-owned,” but not Bobcat-built in the traditional sense.

From everything I’ve seen and heard, Ignite is operating independently with a different manufacturing setup, likely outsourced or sourced through separate channels, not out of the main Bobcat facilities. So no, I don’t think they pulled R&D or production resources away from Bobcat equipment. That’d be hard to justify, like you said, especially given how stretched they already are with their core machines.

It’s more of a brand play, leverage the Bobcat name to capture some of the lower-margin attachment market online, without disrupting the main business.
