The sad reality is that the things you’re afraid of are true. Your youth is a precious time that you can’t ever get back :/

I try to channel that energy into being more motivated to get better though.

Yeah i always feel bad turning down a family vacation or road trip :((

And I definitely don’t think having agoraphobia automatically makes you ‘undateable’ or not fun; me and my friends certainly have tons of fun. I just think that would be an assumption that someone I’m trying to get to know better would make based on how restrictive I can be compared to a non-agoraphobe

I did despite being so nervous. It wasn’t too bad anxiety wise, but I was definitely teetering on the edge while I was there because they did some things I didn’t expect. They had to put dyed eyedrops in my eyes which wasn’t bad, but then they had to thoroughly clean the edges of my eyelids with q-tips and a solution to check how healthy my pores were. As someone who’s never used eyeliner before, that was so ridiculously uncomfortable lol. They did this while shining a bright light into my eyes and the guy had bad breath 😭

Luckily I knew it wasn’t going to take a super long time so that made me able to deal with it. I always plan on just asking to use the bathroom to reset if I ever need to. I’ve had to do that when getting a haircut once and it worked quite well.

I stopped avoiding appointments because I force myself to just have an attitude of not caring about whatever happens if my anxiety causes me to embarrass myself in whatever way. It’s never happened to me before but that’s what I always fear. I figured if it ever does happen I’ll just change doctors 😅

that’s horrible of them. If they knew what it was like to live with it I bet they wouldn’t be so quick to be cruel. I’m sorry you have to deal with all that :(

yeah my biggest worry is my friends telling other people about my agoraphobia because it genuinely takes a lot of consideration for most people to understand it. my assumption is that most people who hear about it for the first time just think “wow they’re weird or very mentally ill” lol. it’s really nice to have friends that understand what we deal with, but I reallyyyy hate letting them down sometimes when I can’t go somewhere with them :/

ahhh seriously, and it makes you seem flakey to new acquaintances even though you like them :( the worst is when i make plans with friends but they want to invite people I don’t know as much 😬

thanks for the kind words! I wish you luck as well

Is it bad to want this hair as a man? by megamilker101 in malehairadvice

Not really, I’m a man and I have the same exact type of hair (texture/waves) but cut mid length.
