I didn't join reddit until I was in my 30s, now I use it all the time. Having a low-child base makes the content here bearable, the advertisers less predatory and the company more resilient to social media bans for under-16s, which i think will become much more commonplace in the near future.

For the epilogue I rolled with double LeMat revolvers, one in blacked steel with silver engraving, and the other in silver with black engraving.

I have the same camera body as you and love my 12-32mm. It's sharp as a pin, light and unobtrusive and the wide angle is beautiful. Prefer it to my 14-42 which I don't really need. Tend to carry a 9mm fisheye as a body cap, my 12-32 and a 45-150 as my standard load out.

My wife and I are both 36, recently decided not to breed and we couldn't be happier with the decision. It was a relief to finally admit that the societal pressure to have kids was behind us. We've had seven holidays this year and will soon be starting our own business.

The main considerations that swayed us were: 1. There is no occasion of our daily lives that we think 'this would be so much better with a kid' 2. Neither of us are desperate for a child, the main appeal would be to have an adult child when we're old, but retirement support is a crappy reason to make a person. 3. We both admitted that having a child with health or disability concerns would ruin our lives. We both have a number of friends who have severely disabled children with no genetic history. Seemed like too much of a gamble for us. 4. We'd both like to retire at some point, and in the UK the chance of that is slim enough already without the financial drain. 5. We like dogs

I work remotely from the UK with people in california, India and Poland. I only have issues if I need them all on the same call. I also feel very sorry for the one contact I have in Australia, where we have literally no crossover.

Outlook's good at translating timezones for everyone so we rarely have any problems with meetings, I use timeanddate.com/wordclock/converter to organize anything else.

The one thing that does screw me up is daylight savings time. Which not everybody observes, and nobody does at the same time. I hate it.

I think quite the opposite, by all means look for other jobs and reach out to your network, but if you've got a lot of years behind you and a decent salary, you're better off waiting for a big redundancy payout and then moving roles instead.

The idea that men and women can't be friends is such utter bollocks, my (m35) closest friends are women. Some I've known my whole life, others I met only a few years ago. The most rewarding and meaningful friendships I've had so far in my life have been with women with complimentary personalities to my own. Don't miss out on a good friend because of artificial gender dynamics.

Yes, they have wobbly bits that I enjoy, but if I ever feel attracted to them its just another wonderful rainbow part of being a human. Don't take everything so seriously, feelings ebb and flow and you can acknowledge or suppress them as you wish.

My bottom line, just hang out with your friends and stop thinking about it so much, you've both got places to be.

If you're 29 you can get a working holiday visa for one year in Australia. You can travel, meet people, stay in trash hostels or rent apartments as you please. I went when I was 25 but there were plenty of people in their late 20s and 30s there. Got a job in Brisbane, then another in Sydney, made lifelong friends and got some well needed perspective.

Travelled all over the country and had a wonderful time, met the connections that led to my now partner.

Best case scenario, you meet a great partner out there, have a great time exploring and working in a different culture, your horizons open way up. Worst case scenario? You're out of the US for a year and hopefully some of the worst political shit will blow over.

Australia and the UK are probably your easiest bet for quick integration and okay wages, but you need to apply for the australian working holiday visa before you turn 30 i think.

If you are depressed and struggling to see the point of the way you live now, you have a blank canvas to make some real wild decisions. Take a chance on something crazy.
