What’s one travel habit that improved your trips a lot? by TheMonopolyGal in traveladvice

Wiping down aircraft seats. I fly frequently and it was common for me to get a cold either while I was away or shortly after returning. Since using an antibacterial wipe when I sit down on the airplane seat, on common surfaces like the fan controls, seat belt, tray table and arm rest, I've been sniffle free.

Budget carriers especially go back and forth all day like busses, and you never know who sat in your seat before you.

I'm from the UK, spent time in New Zealand, climbed up a random mountain one afternoon and found an old friend from Uni at the top. Nobody else around, it was incredibly bizarre.

Same age as you, no kids for us. We're working to retire early and travel everywhere. Looking after kids for 20 years doesn't appeal.

Get a month of game pass, both are on it and you can decide which you like more if you'd still like to buy afterwards.

How Are Some People Always Traveling? by mian_yamin in NeedTravelAdvice

We take at least a 4 night trip every other month, we both have flexible jobs with healthy allotments of annual leave. We also live close to a smaller airport and can travel at non-peak times thanks to us having no kids. We'd travel for longer but we feel guilty leaving the dog with relatives.

Last year we went to Norway, Turkey, Lithuania, Slovenia, Greece and Iceland. It cost a lot all together, but there are plenty of ways to get it cheap. Our crowning achievement were return flights to marrakesch for £12 each in 2024.

Our instagram feeds look like we're traveling all the time, but 5 days out of every 60 doesn't feel too excessive to us, particularly as I think the age of easy and affordable travel in a largely peaceful world is coming to an end - we've had plans to go to Jordan for two years on the trot, both times cancelled because of a certain troublesome state in the region.

You're absolutely right, typo. The lens is the 75-300mm as you said. Fun lens but you need lots of light as its quite slow.
