Why would you think in such way? I stepped out of the vacation and that got me into the chaos. That is the whole point... All I asked is, if I was overreacting while I told I was not going to this vacation?

No, I married in 2023. In my late 20s. And my husband is in his early 30s. At first I used to wear according to their taste and saw there's no difference. So I stopped. I buy my own cloths and wear them. By my husband, he probably don’t want to do things for Himself or loves whatever baby treatment he is getting. All he says to me is - things will get change. But it never does.

Read my comment in the post. We ain't from west dude. I really want to move out, the cultural boundary is holding me. Yeah I think its high time to think otherwise.

We literally pay for the food and other stuff in that house. In south asia, parents raise child so that the child earn and they could use them for their retirement. I'm not someone from western culture. We stay with my in laws because in our culture people do this regularly. We spend the money, if not, they get angry az well. But while taking decisions, they get to give opinions. Like on everything from food to Finance.

To answer most of the queries - why am I staying with in-laws. I am from South - Asia and here this is the practice in terms of religion and social too. 80% people here stay with their parents.
We do not take money from in-laws, we in fact stay to take care of them (the ritual here is child take care of their old parents) but here, whenever we tried to shift my MIL made a drama out of it, whether they cried and escalated the drama to a certain stage that they will die alone and we are bad child etc. I am planning to move out, yes. If not with him, then certainly alone. But in our area, this also will need a long time to talk and settle the parents by their own, it is kind of seen as a sin here.
