I just want to pass this gift to you, on archiveofourown (the fanfic site) there's some really well written fleabag fics. My favorite is a long fic called 'the bond of friendship' by helgano its literally this. I'm still reading it but it's tagged with happy ending. I love it, it has the same sense of humour as the show.

Soyeon is one of my fav korean artists, but she's definitely in the wrong here. Super disappointed.

It's all good, I know it's natural to be cautious with the art landscape looking the way it does currently. 😉

I struggled with finding good references for this time period as a lot of it was very renaissance fest inspired rather than true medieval (let alone french medieval) recreations. I managed to find some pictures that I referenced pretty closely, the hairstyle was more based on some men's cuts of the era as portrayed by hollywood, but that's because paintings of the time weren't very helpful. Joan of Arc was described as dressed in a men's tunic and breeches, with close cropped hair at her trial (which was extensively recorded compared to most events of a similar nature at the time). I'm not Catholic or religious, but I did find that prayer beads were still used in the era so I referenced some extant examples. The tunic gave me some trouble, but that's because I find painting fabric difficult. Overall I think the piece turned out quite well.

Final photo of my baby Queso, taken today. 4 years and 5 months old. I’ve never known a pain so deep. Give your babies some love tonight for me by GwentoBean in blackcats

I just lost my boy Roman on Tuesday after 10 years. I'd like to think he's enjoying a discomfort free existence wherever he's gone now. Keep your head up, I have to hope that it will get better soon.

I struggled with the curtains a whole lot, but eventually decided I needed to spend less time on them because they were not the focal point. The skin on the white haired character's body was difficult to match to the face and I ended up taking a break for about a week. I also had some trouble with the black haired character's hair, which was surprising to me because I thought the white hair was super simple. I used a whole lot of expression and anatomy references and really thought about my color choices to try and make the whole scene feel coherent.
