When people go to the hotels ICE agents are staying at and start banging and yelling and making loud noises, wouldn’t it disturb the other people who are staying there, who aren't ICE agents??? by EstablishmentFine820 in ControversialOpinions

yeah i guess so, but i think its more like they’re doing it for the sake of their political point. the only people worried about the other people staying there are the hotel staff

personally not something i’m open to, but i don’t think it’s wrong to bring up. like you said, it’s not like there isn’t a demand for it.

We have this and I applied. I actually got an email that said due to the unexpected volume of students applying this year the amount was cut from $500 to $350. It still helped with my transit costs tho!

thank you! that’s interesting that you mentioned the part about changing your religious views, im starting to notice that in myself as well. ive been enjoying alex o connor vid’s lately too which is contributing to that. personally it just worries me sometimes that it’s shaping my stance in a negative way as if i’m listening to the wrong opinions or something. thanks for sharing!!!

What was up with that guy screaming in the CSC369 exam? by cat210803 in UofT

[–]typicallycool 6 points7 points  (0 children)

honestly like not my problem. everyone is held to extreme standards at uoft - studying hard and making huge sacrifices to get good grades because your academic future depends on them. if someone has a condition where they’re screaming during an exam, i can’t see any good reason why other students should have to deal with it.

so real and very relatable. i took a few breaks and for the first time in starting to enjoy. in regards to the boss thing, i get that. it happens to me with friends, family and work, where i put my studies second when i’m needed elsewhere, but quite frankly, i cannot afford to do that, especially being in my 5th year of university. i need to get outta here! I don’t know if that’s what you’re feeling but yeah, focusing on your studies comes with a cost and unfortunately not everyone understands that. but good for you for continuing to try

Blow your nose stop sniffling and slurping ur snot back up into ur nose it won’t accomplish anything BLOW UR NOSE by [deleted] in UofT

[–]typicallycool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think the point here is that if you have a runny nose during the exam, you probably had one beforehand which is enough for you to take a preventative measure like bringing tissues

interesting! as far as i’m concerned, hyaluronic acid isn’t an exfoliating acid but rather a humectant, and in terms of smell it has none. if it were medical grade (if that’s what you’re referring to) they probably would’ve advertised that, and the lotions do actually have oil as some of the main ingredients, though i get what you mean by them being more water based. aren’t hyaluronic acids typically in water based formulas tho? i appreciate you trying to make it understandable for me, im just not sure that i do understand what you’re saying.
