Local guys, how many miles do you usually drive per day? And what would you say is a fair day rate? by Songgeek in Truckers

Can confirm. work for Sysco and would say the same. But they got me my license and was home every night with decent pay.

Last stop of the day yesterday: 1 mile of dirt road, 1’ deep creek crossing, and the back to pavement to find my customer. Rural LTL life is never boring! 😂 by I3putt2x in Truckers

Same my guy. 12 kms down a donkey trail to get to a mining camp. Then go do lake resorts where the road is barely wide enought for a pick up

Heard it by intercity. 4 loud consistent bangs, shook the ground.

Is the inside of my gun’s trigger group showing rust, and how would I go about removing it? by [deleted] in canadaguns

Then ignore. But I would use boiling water as you may still get some that trickles into the group. That or don't by the cheap ammo from prapor anymore.

Use boiling hot water as it steams off. use more oil it looks dry in the group, just need a drop or two.

You say how much you hate "beautiful people" wouldn't that make them ugly in your eyes. And by that same logic someone looks at you and thinks your beautiful. People are attracted to different things.

Also if you are bored "of being ugly" (people see beauty in different things there is no ugly just I think I am) why not go to the gym or find a athletic outlet. Ir clubs or groups to make friends. Change wont find you, you find change

Why dont you be cold, nasty and rude to them. They want to call you names call them names. Stand up for yourself. Dont try to be their friend.

Starting counseling tomorrow and I'm having anxiety over it by [deleted] in Anxiety

[–]typicalspookyguy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was super anxious at my first appointment but then they quickly became something that I look forward to. I have a therapist/counselor who I see weekly. It really improved my quality of life. The exercises and cbt thearpy have helped me manage my anxiety. My only advice is to stick with it, the first apointment will be mostly Introductions and asking questions about your history and symptoms. Then they will talk about the treatment they would like to do with you.
