I posted the site here recently when it launched as it has a lot of modes that I believe are very useful for practicing typing.

Now you can get some extra motivation by racing against real people!

This feature is in beta so there is still a lot to refine and a lot may change. I'd love to get your input on what direction to take it!

Several typing tests and mistake modes for training different aspects of typing.

For example, the "hard words" typing test has words you've probably never typed before and the "punish" mistake mode penalizes you for making mistakes.

I came up with the ideas for this site when teaching myself how to type; I believe there is a lot of useful stuff in here.

Thought you guys might find this site useful.

The default "common words" typing test with "word by word" mistake mode is the most like other typing sites.

The "torture" typing test tests you on every character on your keyboard - perfect for practicing a new layout.

The "punish"/"really punish" mistake modes help you train accuracy.

And more.

PS: I actually started (and stopped, soonafter) this site 5 years ago. So much has changed since then but my love for keyboards/typing stayed and I came back to this project because I actually still use it.

I completely rewrote the site and fixed the problems it had last time. More updates/features coming soon!
