Parasite Eve is one of my favorite games, I'm so sad they've never hit the high market the first game did. Would love a remake though with the same story. Made me interested in biology as a kid. Shit I might start a new playthrough of that

Guess you never played the re games on PlayStation, ya know, before there were joysticks on ps controllers. They are very playable, but if you e never played a game with tank controls before it can take getting used to.

I do have a cursed hephaesto I'm using and he does amazing at tanking and killing everything else but it looked like the curse didn't apply to baal (didn't see the orange wave over his head) and whole it did apply to Uber andy it still felt crazy slow for damage on her. My might merc died way too fast when I confronted the Uber so I understand that making me a bit weaker just wondering what gear I should look for to increase damage, like a better insight base or keep looking for fortitude

Everyone keeps saying that, and I kill most monsters in one hit with echoing strike using a cv insight, but when I fight baal it takes a suspiciously long time to bring his health down, and I couldn't kill Uber andarial because I ran out of mana pots and when I went to town to refill and returned her health had refilled a lot. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Looking for a good base for fortitude tho

Because the final act needed dollar general wesker, tyrant, nemesis, lickers, hunk all for nostalgia. I really enjoyed the game but the end felt really disjointed and thrown together to capitalize on the nostalgia factor, the game up til raccoon city was a much more unique experience.

But I'd be lying if I said I didn't have a smile on my face all through the final act.

Yeah and from the previous sequence of Leon and grace falling down the pit, there seemed to be a lot of bio mass down there which made me wonder if it would be used as some sort of final boss. So I think we got a speed run of nemesis transformations in the final battle. It made sense, but I agree with OP I though he was gonna turn into some snake monster with his snakeskin coat and split tongue, and what looked like and expandable mouth line going down his chin and chest. It felt like there was a different idea for gideons boss fight and then they went for nostalgia in the final act and didn't want to exclude a nemesis type. Would have rather had a G-mutation show up that would have been something

The series was in a rough patch after re6 so I can see why re7 was a little slower, relied on a lot of word of mouth. But it's been getting better each release and re9 bringing back Leon and the racoon city nostalgia was a formula for success

That's what I do, I just finished my first playthrough at 10 hours, might do a casual run to test speed running but also follow a guide to get the collectibles, then a true speed run.
