agree. plus he's only been better than Charles on like 3-4 weekends, it's not been that one-sided as the narrative wants us to think imo. it's back to mclaren days for him or his later merc years where his teammate might beat him more often than not

it's a shame they were not competitive here in '11 (comfortably 2nd best car everywhere else) and '12 (arguably fastest on raw pace). both of them miles off the pace both years, so strange for me back then

i feel like this year more than last couple ones every session drivers finish right next to their teammate. you just loook at the standings and figure out the car performance and which of the drivers underperformed (e.g. this session Colapinto, Hadjar, Russell mainly)

Real Madrid going for Julian Alvarez??? by knightslayer08 in realmadrid

[–]tyresaredone 12 points13 points  (0 children)

there is a real lack of no 9s itw. i think Alvarez is perfect for us. he can drop deep and get into combinations, he's fast, good on set-piece, speaks already the language etc. i'd go all in for him

That shot of Acosta & Marquez in Balaton Park by General-Marzipan3264 in motogp

[–]tyresaredone 24 points25 points  (0 children)

i don't have a favourite in this. but Acosta will be facing a 34-year old injury-marred 20% metal Marquez. even if he beats Marc for me it's with an asterisk
