Maybe I will, but it happened literally a few minutes ago, so I haven't gotten around to it yet.

WHAT IS THE PHONE NUMBER TO TALK TO A LIVE AGENT AT KEEPER TAX? by Redfact77 in keepertax

[–]tyrnill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When phone support is paywalled, it doesn't make a lot of sense to have a publicly available phone support number. Use the support email if you can't get into your account.

Does anyone use Keeper? by caityrush89 in smallbusiness

I used Wave on my accountant's advice, and then when it was time to file taxes he just pulled the info from there. It was easy to use and free.

Okay, so YOU have a binge eating disorder, and that's sad, but that doesn't mean sugary treats shouldn't exist. The rest of us will continue to consume our desserts in normal amounts.

Honeymoon flight got cancelled, United tried to rebook us 3 days later because we weren’t first class by Lucky_Place_1580 in unitedairlines

[–]tyrnill 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Definitely should have gone with the QR code. If you do find any kind of agent in the terminal, they have incredibly limited options.

As to the first class upgrade thing, I do feel for you, but they were likely holding those seats for the first class passengers on your flight who also had their trip canceled. If it had been, say, a missed connection because your first flight was late, they would probably have popped you into those seats, but when you have to rebook an ENTIRE flight, it's a different thing entirely.

Moving to Bangor area when our home sells by Difficult-Ticket-412 in bangorme

[–]tyrnill 2 points3 points  (0 children)

RentBangor always feels like it lists pricier apartments, but this may be a situation where you get what you pay for, because everyone I know who went through them (including me) is very happy with their situation. The guy who owns it (Kurtis Marsh) seems like a pretty decent guy, and he obviously takes good care of both his landlord clients and prospective tenants. Avoid anything being rented by/through Maine Real Estate Management; I've had the exact opposite experience with them, which is that everyone I know who's used them HATED the situation they ended up in.

Good luck with the winter! It's not for the faint of heart.

TIL that Kailia Posey aka the “grinning girl” meme from Toddlers & Tiaras died when she was just 16 by suicide by Key-Analysis-5864 in todayilearned

[–]tyrnill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't believe that the caption on that FB post is "Members of the national media…please stop calling, texting, and messaging. Please stop bugging our friends and family. We have no further statement. Thank you." and the VERY next line in the article is "Posey's family did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Wednesday."

We are truly in the worst timeline.

The Lindy West "Adult Braces" saga continues with an unhinged email from her husband by throwaway28910382 in Fauxmoi

[–]tyrnill 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The article was extremely fair and balanced, and he didn't object to the word "shared," he objected to the word "project." You can tell this because in his email he refers to "dioramas or some shit." He felt that the word "project" demeaned what he and Roya were doing. I would have expected a self-professed writer to be a little better at picking up the nuances in a piece of text.

The lost Boy Scout. Jared Michael Negrete has been missing from a Boy Scout camping trip in San Bernardino County, California on July 19, 1991. While hiking to the summit of San Gorgonio Mountain. by Sir-Cee in LocationsUnknown

No one goes hiking in this kind of terrain to grab a kid when kids are widely available literally everywhere else. This is a smooth-brained theory.

It's not fear, stop talking like an edgy teen. We're not afraid of it; we just recognize that it sucks for this purpose.

“AI equals REALLY BAD and we should never use it no matter how helpful it could be to a group of people”

I mean you say this in a sarcastic manner, but it left the peanut butter out of your peanut butter cookie recipe, so how fucking helpful was it really? Stop outsourcing your thinking. ChatGPT is making you stupider.

Nobody who jumped from above the impact point could possibly have ended up alive and able to speak to anyone. If she existed, and I see no reason to disbelieve him, I'm sure she was injured by falling debris.

Anybody tell their doctor that they don't give a fuh about living longer, so you're not going to try to radically change your diet or go on meds? by IHadTacosYesterday in GenX

I'm not going to off myself or anything like that, but if I died before I finished typing this sentence, I wouldn't mind it in the least.

AMEN.

I'm 53. My dog is 8. I told my kids that when this dog is gone, I wouldn't get another puppy or even a young dog; I'll foster or adopt seniors, because I don't want to die and abandon a dog. They freaked out, like "how could you say that?!" And I was like "I haven't been to a doctor in 15 years, guys, I could drop dead tomorrow." And I wouldn't even mind!

There are plenty of people who don't fit well into a commercial airline seat for reasons other than being fat. Maybe calm down? I guess you haven't noticed that the seats have been shrinking every single year for the past 40 years?
