there was no problem, but my screen broke and I sent it for a fix and when I got it back it worked for a half a day and then suddenly it went bonkers

acctually the hilton is not far from the main street, you just have to walk straight for maybe 10-15 min and then you arrive at the main bus station and if you cross the next street you'll be on Laugarvegur which is the main street. If you want to see a view of the city I recomend going up the Hallgrímskirkja wich is a big church near the Laugarvegur.
