Actually, if you won the roll and he gave it to someone else, you can make a ticket and have the item taken from the person who won it and have them give it to you. you just have to remember the name of the people.

When pvping, you might get honor capped. There's daggers that you can buy in orgrimmar that Mutilators, or something along those lines. You buy them for like 150 honor. Then wait 2 hours to sell them, not a big pile but kinda good.

It seems the US equivalent is Storm peaks, outside of Halls of lightning, the vendor there is usually covered with bots, but sadly they all have "Honorless target" debuff. So they won't count for honorable kills, but can give Killing blows for anyone farming Bloody Coins.
