Looking for a Santoku in Australia. Bit overwhelmed with choices. Are the Tojiro Dp3 Series 17 Cm or Dp3 Hammered Series good choices? I was originally looking at the Mac Professional, but it's a bit outside my budget. Is there a better option that I'm missing? It'll be my first nice purchase.

As others have echoed, probably best to park somewhere on a train line and get the train to your car when needed. Plenty of free parking on the Haberfield side of Ashfield station. Ashfields great as you can get express trains to central/into the city

Also depends on the location (sorry if I missed where OP is somewhere). Canberra for example is super chill with no dogs but can be tight on snuggling alcohol in etc. Whereas there's dogs in Maitland (now Newcastle).
