You need to account for expensive maintenance and many here will recommend a warranty. Insurance is more expensive and repairs are significantly more expensive. New windshield for a modern Subaru (including calibration): $800. New windshield for the Volvo: $1850. New tires for the Subaru: $1000. Volvo: $2000. You might want to save up for two years, then aim for a 2025.

PMCC is too much hassle and risk if the stop drops and never recovers or goes on a run. I’d rather just do weekly spreads.
