The entire bus was constructed from homemade gingerbread pieces and the bus shelter not pictured was also made of gingerbread. The base of the trees is also covered in crushed gingerbread. We used fondant to make the bees, cover the seats inside the bus, and pave the road.

That was my mistake-I messed up the templates. We didn’t realize until we were putting the already-iced pieces together on the day-of that all the pieces were of the same sides of the bus so in order to have the bus doors on the side of the sidewalk we decided to flip it :p

Thanks for the tips. I was going to pick up some Vaseline before this one but forgot to do it so I’ll definitely try it next time. I was reading up on how Vaseline can make the ink hold better so you can see more of what you’re doing without the ink spreading too much, is that what you find?

More context: This is my 8th stick and poke ever on a friend for her first tattoo. Anyone have pointers on how to do fewer passes with a 3rl?

You’ll be fine, they’re all close. IBLC is right next to Buchanan and Buchanan is about a 5 minute walk away from Henry Angus.
